Last week my younger son turned three. Oh wow! The time flies so fast. It seems like yesterday when he was a tiny (ok not that "tiny") baby and now he is a big boy. Loving helicopters and plains, big trucks , cars, and knows very fell different car brands. Like when we go on our daily walks, he recognizes 99% of the cars he sees. Like wow! When it comes to his birthday present, then, in a way it was super easy, because he knew he wanted a big white Audi. But that didn't mean that he wanted a simple toy car. Oh no - he wanted the electric battery-powered ride-on car- the one he could drive around and turn the steering wheel. Since those aren't cheap then I kind of hoped that maybe he would change his mind, but no - he is one little stubborn dude. We actually planned to get him a white Audi Q8 but since the white one was sold out in most places or had an estimated delivery time of 1+months, then we decided to buy him a white Audi R8 Spider. New month has started and so it's time for a recap post. Since I forgot to do May 2021 recap post then I will summarize both May and June in my today's post. So let's start with numbers In May, I published 10 posts. That is 3 less than in April, but 4 more than in May 2020. In June I published 13 posts, which is 3 more than in May and 3 more than in June 2020. In May, my blog received 1300 fewer page views than in April 2021, but 50% more page views than in May 2020. In June, beautybymissl.com received 1000 fewer page views than a month before, but about 45% more page views than in June 2020. When it comes to my earnings in June and May, then my income in May from my blog was pretty much the same as in April. In June, my blog did better ad so I managed to earn a bit more than in previous months. Meet my favourite outfit from last week - a green skirt and a white anchor print top. Last week started with super hot weather, and so this simple summer outfit featuring a green skirt and a simple white racerback tank top was just perfect. The whole outfit was light and airy and just made me feel like a supermodel :D I have previously shown you my green Holly & Whyte by Lindex skirt paired with a simple black tee , a yellow v-neck sweater , a sleeveless peach top , and a grey sweater . Since it is warm outside, then I wanted to pair the skirt with something white and light. I had a few options, but this white anchor print top from H&M seemed like the best choice. Big news! I'm going back to work in August! OMG! On the one hand, I'm super excited to go back to work after nine years. But on the other hand, I'm a bit scared. I have been away for 9 years doing other things and enjoying being free and not tied to any work-related responsibilities. And of course my kids. My older one will start grade three in September and my younger one will start his kindergarten journey. To tell you the truth I have no idea how that will go. Will he love it? Will he hate it? How often will he have a runny nose and other health problems, which means that (probably) I will have to stay home with him because I can't take him to the kindergarten if he is not well? Another week has gone by. When last week I mentioned that the weather had been really nice lately then unfortunately last week was far from nice - rainy, windy and not warm at all. Last week also was Eurovision. I used to be very excited about it always stayed up late to see all semi-finals and finals, then this year I didn't watch it live but just the replay the next day. I'm a bit sad that Estonia's song ( Uku Suviste - The Lucky One ) didn't make it to the final, but oh well, you can't always win. I'm not exactly thrilled about the winning song this year ( Måneskin - Zitti E Buoni ). It was okay but not something I would listen to very often. My favourites from this year were Finland ( Blind Channel - Dark Side ), Norway ( TIX - Fallen Angel ), Malta ( Destiny - Je Me Casse ), Sweden ( Tusse - Voices ). The COVID-19 situation got worse here in Estonia, and that meant that my son had to start distance learning again which meant that most of my time went to dealing with his schoolwork. He is a smart boy and usually gets everything done quickly but he is sooooooooooo lazy and studying still isn't on his list of priorities. So his distance school days mean that I'm an IT technician, secretary, cook, cleaner, teacher, etc. And then there is this 2.5-year old who also wants attention. Awful! So considering all that I'm happy that I actually managed to pull myself together and still publish 3 blog posts a week as I had planned. I mean last year, when all this madness began then, I basically stopped writing blog posts because I was just exhausted from all this :( So here comes my usually favourite part - the numbers...

From 2013-2014 I was super active and worked out like crazy! Seriously! Like whenever I had some free time I went out jogging or spent time in group training. For example I absolutely loved BodyPump. And I was in excellent shape. I think I have never been that fit before or after that. At the moment I weigh about 6-9kg more then I weighed back than and I'm just kind of mad at myself that it's so hard to find the time (and sometimes motivation too) to actually get back that shape - to be as fit as I was then. Losing that extra weight is one of my goals. And fitting in some of those beautiful dresses that are sitting in my wardrobe waiting for that miracle is one of those motivations. In a way, it's really weird how I actually manage to get rid of 2-4kg, and then something happens and I'm again back at where I started ... Well, ...

Hi, lovelies! Happy International Women's Day to you all! How have you been?  When last week it felt like Spring here in Estonia, and I showed you my green and yellow outfit for spring, then at the end of the week the weather turned into winter again. On Thursday evening, it started to snow, and so on Friday morning we had -7°C outside and everything was covered with white snow. IF it was November or December I would be super happy and excited ... but in March, not that happy! And I'm really worried about my tulips and narcissus that already had started showing their first leaves. Luckily right now the temperature is just a little below 0°C and I hope that the snow will protect my flowers from the cold.  The snow and snowstorm, and headache also ruined all my great workout plans for the weekend. Luckily I still have 2.5 months left for the first 7 km race I signed up last week. I hope I will achieve some sort of running shape for the race with that time :D  ...

It's March! Yay! This means it is time for a little roundup of how my February went.  So let's start with my favourite part - the numbers! In February I posted 14 posts. That is seven less than in January and 11 more than a year ago. Of course, February was a bit shorter month, and so it could be a good excuse for fewer posts. Hi, lovelies! How have you all been? I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day! Our Valentine's Day was quite usual, except we had some delicious cake and I wore another pink and black outfit :D Ok, actually, we also went sledding with the kids, and I went jogging afterward. I ran 5.04km in 39 minutes. On Saturday, I also went jogging. I ran 3.2km, and it took me 26 minutes. Since I haven't been jogging for over a year then I'm in a bad shape, but I hope that in a few months I can participate in some running races again. In my January recap post, I complained that I still haven't found a perfect replacement for the Endomondo fitness tracker. And unfortunately, I'm still looking for something that would be as good as Endomondo was :( At the moment, I'm still debating between Sports Tracker, Strava, and Map My Run. Happy Monday, lovelies! February is a rather busy month for me. When last week hubby and I celebrated our wedding anniversary, then this week, it's time to celebrate my blog's 10th birthday! I can't believe that beautybymissl.com turns 10 years old on the 11th of February! I remember when I just started my blog - and where I am now. I started blogging ten years ago because, firstly, I was bored - my hubby was away because of his work, and my days basically just consisted of going to work. When I started my blog, then I didn't really have a clear idea of what my blog would be about. I mean there wasn't exactly anything blog-worthy in my personal or work life and therefore I decided to review (mainly) beauty products I used. Why? I hoped that maybe these reviews would be helpful for those who were thinking about buying a certain product. *Affiliate links I had great plans for the weekend - to work out, to work on my upcoming blog posts, etc. Well, that didn't go as planned. On Saturday, I woke up with a headache and that kind of set the tone for the whole day. I made pizza for lunch. Since I haven't made pizza from the scratch for a few years now then it took more time than I had planned. After lunch, I went for a walk. I planned to walk around 7 km but I ended up walking 9.2 km instead. Not bad! But after I got home I felt so exhausted and cold for some reason and so I went straight to bed and slept an hour. Once I got up it was 4 pm and so I did worked a bit on my blog posts but I really had hoped to get more done. On Sundays, I usually write my blog post for Monday and take outfit photos.
