Mad Beauty Advent Calendar - is it worth the money?

Image
Nowadays there are many different Advent calendars for almost everyone. In October I was making an order from asos.com and I stumbled on Mad Beauty Advent Calendar and so I decided to treat myself with something special. Before that advent calendar I hadn't heard of Mad Beauty and so to tell you the truth  I had no idea what to expect. Mad Beauty advent calendar is like a typical advent calendar - there are 24 doors to open and behind each door is a small beauty gift. Behind my Mad Beauty advent calendar doors I found these 24 small beauty gifts: 5 lip glosses, 2 lipsticks, 3 nail polishes, 1 eyeliner pencil, 1 lip liner pencil, 2 blushes, 2 eye shadow quads, lip brush, blush brush, applicator, toe separator, nail file, sharpener and a powder compact. Mad Beauty Blusher (2.5g) - I love the peach shade of this blush and the fact that it has nice satin finish. It is good shade for everyday use. Mad Beauty Blusher (3.5g) - I like the shade although I'm not going to...

Simple Christmas decoration

Image
Today is First Sunday of Advent and this means that our family stars decorating for Christmas. We probably won't decorate the tree yet, but I will decorate the windows. Today I want to show you this simple christmas decoration for window which takes less than 5 minutes to make! For this simple christmas decoration I used a glass vase and battery operated gold star LED fairy lights. We purchased these lights from Tesco last year because they were the finishing touch for our livingroom window decoration, but since this year I have another plan with windows then I couldn't really figure out where to use them.

Trip to London, July 2015

Image
I hope you are all having great Saturday! Today I have this super picture heavy post for you about our trip to London. In July (yes almost 6 months ago) I and mr.R visited London again. Since little mr.R stayed at home with babysitter then we planned to do a lot of sightseeing, go to theatre and maybe some shopping too. The weather was warm and sunny and so we decided to get tickets to The Original Tour London sightseeing bus, which I think is an amazing way to get from one place to another, learn more about history of London and great way to visit the most important tourist attractions. I liked that you can purchase 24 or 48 hour ticket and then ride as much as you like and hop on and off at any of their 80+ bus stops and change between the routes as many times as you like. Also there's free river Thames cruise included with the bus ticket. We also wanted to take a ride on London's Eye, but after we had queued for an hour and it was our turn to buy tickets at 2.30PM we we...

#bbcchallenge: The Orange, Red and Yellow Challenge

Image
Hello everyone! November it ending and so it is time for this month's #bbcchallenge. The theme for this month's challenge was orange, red and yellow which was inspired of colourful fall leaves. And of course I decided to do checkered orange, red and yellow nails. I started my checkered orange, red and yellow nails with Révérence de Bastien base coat and then I added two coats of Butter London yellow polish Pimms  (1). After Pimms was completely dry I added striping tape to achieve nice straight stripes (2). Next I took a piece of sponge and applied some orange Butter London Silly Billy and OPI Coca-Cola Red on it and then I dabbed my nails with the sponge to achieve ombre look (3). Next I removed the striping tape, appli...

OPI Suzi Says Feng Shui

Image
OPI Suzi Says Feng Shui is beautiful blue nail polish from OPI Hong Kong Collection Spring 2010. I stumbled on this polish on my last trip to the Netherlands while browsing the airport duty-free shop. I loved the color in the bottle and so it landed in my shopping cart :) OPI lakk Suzi Says Feng Shui on kena sinine lakk OPI 2010 aasta kevadisest Hong Kongi kollektsioonist. On my nails you can see two coats of OPI Suzi Says Feng Shui applied over Révérence de Bastien base coat and finished with INM Out The Door top coat. OPI Suzi Says Feng Shui is medium blue nail polish. The formula of this polish is bit think and so for even and opaque result I needed to coats of polish. Available at Amazon.com, Min...

OOTD: Black and white office look aka crazy cat lady :P

Image
If I had to work in the office then I think my today's outfit would be one of my favorite ones :D Although I mentioned in the title of this post crazy cat lady , then I'm actually more of a dog person. Don't get me wrong I do like cats, but I like dogs more :) But that doesn't really stop me wearing this black and white cat print blouse from SheIn for my black and white office look. This cat print blouse from SheIn looks great! It has good quality and it feels nice on. For these outfit photos I styled this blouse with black Marks & Spencer pencil skirt, black New Look shoes and bracelets, golden Michael Kors watch, Mink & Stone personalised necklace and since it's basically winter time then black tights.
