Nivea Double Effect Eye Make-Up Remover

Image
I bought Nivea Visage Double Effect Eye Make-Up Remover, because I needed make-up remover fast and here where I live at the moment (small pointless town) I couldn´t find anything better. I have never had good experiences with Nivea eye make-up removers so I wasn´t expecting much from this product either, but for my surprise it is actually pretty good. No, it is not in my favourites list, but it works fine and I can´t really complain about anything.   Nivea Visage Double Effect Eye Make-Up Remover is suitable for all skin types and it is promised to remove even waterproof makeup. Its caring formula is promised to protect eye lashes and it is suitable for even for sensitive eye area. My opinion about it: What I like: - removes non-waterproof makeup easily (since I don´t own any waterproof mascaras, then I can´t comment how it removes waterproof eye make-up) - easy to use - just shake and put some on cotton bad - when removing makeup I don´t have to rub  - with very light scen...

Question Wednesday {All about 'me' themed}

Nykki from Nykki´s Mane Blog started a new series called Question Wednesday (you can read more about it HERE) where she every Tuesday posts 5 questions and we, beauty bloggers, can answer them on our blogs and then visit her post again and leave our blog name and blog post URL using linky.   So questions & my answers this time: 1. How old are you?     28 2. Why do you blog?     I blog because I love blogging :D Ok actually I like to share my opinions and thoughts about beauty products, that I´ve tried and used and I also love reading about other beauty bloggers opinions. I also love doing nail art from time to time and so this gives me a opportunity to show it. 3. What can we find on your blog?    On my blog there are reviews about beauty products that I´ve tried and used, nail art by me, sometimes some random stuff (travelling, sales on my favourite online stores etc). I also want to do some EOTD and FOTD posts in the future and show my...

Water Decals from KKCenterHK & NOTD

Image
In February I was contacted by KKCenterHK and they offered to send me water decals to review. Since I love trying new things then of course I said yes. KKCenterHK is an online store that offers different products: makeup products, wigs and products for nails. They ship worldwide.    They let me choose water decals to try and I chose these: N.NAIL Water Decals Nail Art- WDBLE1400 And here is photo of mine. I already used one row on my nails when I realised that I still hadn´t taken photo of them :S On the sheet there was 25 images and so here you can see only 20 :P These water decals took long time to arrive, but I am very very happy that I finally got them. I mean for some reason I´ve always thought that water decals are difficult and messy to use (or maybe the videos on Youtube made me think so) and so when I received them and tried to use them I realised that they are very very easy to use and the quality of these is very good. So what you need for applying these: - wat...

Aubrey Organics Organic Lip Balm Peppermint & Tea Tree

Image
I ordered Aubrey Organics Organic Lip Balm Peppermint & Tea Tree from iHerb.com when they had their weekly offer, which gave me 10% off from entire Aubrey Organics line and so it cost only $2.26. I have used it since January and I love it! Promises: Ultra-conditioning balm softens and hydrates your lips with Rosa Mosqueta® oil and other organic ingredients. Try cooling peppermint and tea tea or any of our other fun flavors. Organic Rosa Mosqueta Oil is rich in antioxidant vitamin C and nutrients, to moisturize and protect lips. Other organic oils help to soften and condition, and restore the moisture balance. My opinion about it: What I like about Aubrey Organics Lip Balm - Peppermint&Tea Tree: - nice and minty (too minty for some probably). I love the fresh and cooling minty feeling it leaves on my lips. - peppermint scent - moisturises and nourishes my lips nicely. Even with the coldest weather my lips were still in perfect condition.  - goes on smoothly - price ...

Spring cleanup on my bathroom shelves

Image
Yesterday I did a little spring cleanup in my bathroom. Why? Because I have too much stuff there. Some of the products have been there too long, I don´t use them and some are even expired and I don´t like to use expired products. So here is everything that was on my bathroom shelves. Too much or not? To me at the moment it seems too much (we do have very small bathroom :P)  Eile tegin ma enda vannitoas kevadist suurpuhastust. Miks? Everything with red cross got thrown out. Most of the products that I had to throw away were just too old already. I still have too many shampoos (5) and so I try not to buy new ones until I have fin...

NOTD: 24/03/2012

Image
So this is my latest mani. I used two coats of OPI That´s Hot! Pink! and for the dots I wanted to use dark blue stamping polish from Born Pretty Store, but since that had gone weird and very very thick (so I threw it away) and used Barry M Nail Paint in Indigo instead.   I´m not very happy with the result because this mani just didn´t come out the way I wanted :( What I used: - SpaRitual Protein Boost Nail Fortifier - OPI Nail Lacquer in That´s Hot! Pink! - Barry M Nail Pain in Indigo - China Glaze Fast Forward Top Coat and dotting tool from Born Pretty Store

Fresh Look Eye Cream

Image
I have had Fresh Look Eye Cream since November. I bought it from Tallinna Kaubamaja and it cost €15.27. Since this is 30ml jar and you only use a small amount then this lasts for a long time and so it is pretty cheap.    This cream comes with applicator and so it is very convenient to take the cream from the jar.  What they say about it on the packaging and the ingredients list: and that's how it looks. It is not heavy and it absorbs nicely without leaving my eye area greasy. My opinion about the Fresh Look Eye Cream What I like about it: - mild scent - absorbs nicely without leaving my eye area greasy - very convenient to use because of the applicator - 30ml jar costs €15.27  - lasts for a long time - moisturises well   What I don´t like: - I have used it for 3,5 months and I can´t really say that I have noticed that the fine lines that I have (yes yes I have them :S) would have diminished   In conclusion: if you have fine lines around your eye area then ...

My Latest Beauty Purchases

Image
Hi! So here are my latest beauty buys. I haven´t done much shopping lately - just no mood for it :S So firstly I needed a new shampoo that would be good when you have problems with dandruff (it just sucks! I have never ever had problems with that and now some days I have :S) and so I decided to try Tšistaja Linija Shampoo with Thistle. I have used it already three times and it is pretty good. I also needed a new hair mask. I haven´t used drugstore hair care products for quite a long time (except the L´Oreal Elvital Arginine Resist line ) and so now I really wante...

NOTD: updated

Image
Hi again! :) I hope your Spring started nicely :) Anyway I decided to update my mani that I showed you on Monday ( you can see it HERE ). I didn´t really know what to do with it and finally I drew some flowers on my nails with Aden Cosmetics nail art polish in Gold and here is the result:  As you can see I also used some little rhinestones, that I ordered from eBay.

Amazing Shine Cuticle Oil

Image
I have had this Amazing Shine Nail Treatment Cuticle oil since November and so I have used it for pretty long time. Unfortunately I managed to delete my own photos of it from my laptop (stupid me :s) and so here is the photo of the product that I took from Amazing Shine website.   This product is supposed to help to moisturise the sensitive cuticle area and help to prevent skin from splitting if used regularly.   My opinion about it: What I like about Amazing Shine Cuticle oil: - scent. It smells like cherry compote. Delicious! - moisturises nicely and really helps to keep cuticles in good condition if used REGULARLY. I am lazy time to time and so I know that if you use it only once or twice a week (when taking pictures of my nails LOL) then it won´t work. - the price. I don´t remember anymore how much was it, but I think it was under 5€.   What I don´t like - might leave hands greasy-oily   In conclusion: It is nice product, but I think there are better ones out th...

Finally I sponged OPI DS in Coronation on my nails. What I used: - SpaRitual Protein Boost Nail Fortifier as a base coat - OPI Alpine Snow - Maybelline miniColorama Green Park - OPI DS Coronation - China Glaze Fast Forward Top Coat

Yves Rocher Fruits de Noel Orange&Chocolate Liquid Hand Soap

Image
Here is the second Yves Rocher Fruits de Noel limited edition product that I got as a belated Christmas gift. You can read my review about the shower gel HERE .  Ingredients My opinion about it: What I liked about it: - the scent. I just loved it as soon as I started using it. It has delicious chocolate scent with a little hint of orange.  - lathers well - made my hands nicely clean without making them too try What I didn´t like: - I would have loved this liquid hand soap even more if it had been more moisturising. Sometimes after using it (especially if we had very cold weather here in Estonia)  I really felt that my hands were too try. In conclusion it was a good product and I think I would purchase it again - because of its scent :P Eesti keeles ka :) Yves Rocher Fruits de Noel vedelseep oli siis teine osa mu hilinenud jõulukingist, mille ma sain kätte mõned päevad peale jõule. Sama sarja dušigeeli reviewd võib lugeda SIIT . Minu arvamus Yves Rocher Fruits de Noel šoko...

Yves Rocher Fruits de Noel Shower Gel

Image
Couple of days after Christmas I got two products from Yves Rocher Fruit de Noel holiday edition as belated Christmas gifts. I had never used any products by Yves Rocher (even though I have seen their catalogues etc) and so I was happy to try these products. Actually both of these products are from Yves Rocher holiday edition and so y ou probably won´t find these products from anywhere any more, but I wanted to share my opinion about them anyway.  So first Yves Rocher Fruit de Noel Shower Gel My opinion about it What I liked about it: + Firstly of course the scent. At first I wasn´t sure about it, but after couple of uses I really started to like it + lathers well + didn´t make my skin itchy What I didn´t like: - for winter time I really prefer products that moisturise my skin and unfortunately I had to use body lotion after using this shower gel, because my skin felt try. In conclusion this shower gel was nice, but I would not purchase it again, but I would like to try some other ...
