This is where the magic of a trickle charger comes into play. Photo by MART PRODUCTION on Pexels What is a Trickle Charger? A trickle charger is a battery charger designed to be left connected to a battery for long periods to maintain the battery at full charge. Trickle chargers work by delivering electricity to the battery at a slower rate than typical chargers, making them ideal for maintaining a battery's charge over time without overcharging. Let's journey down memory lane to a time when you might have moved to a new house. Remember how important it was to update your address everywhere? Just like ensuring your mail follows you to yo...

Why Self-Catering Holidays are the Best Option

Image
When you search for a holiday online, you’ll have to make a number of choices about your flights and where you want to stay. However, one of the biggest choices will be the board basis you choose for your stay. Nowadays, many holidays offer all-inclusive or full board options, which means all your meals, and sometimes all your drinks, are included in the price. While it can be a tempting option, it’s very easy to get bored on this type of holiday, so here are some reasons why it’s worth opting for self-catering. It’s Likely to Work Out Cheaper An all-inclusive holiday will often seem like good value for money, as although the cost is higher, you won’t need to worry about food or drink during your stay. However, a survey that pitted these holidays against self-catering stays showed that in many areas, self-catering holidays work out cheaper , even if you go out for lunch and dinner, as it’s often cheap to dine out abroad. If you’re the sort of traveller who likes to go to local sup...

Jeans and white and purple plaid shirt & weekly link up #113

Image
Last week we visited Sillamäe. Sillamäe is a town in Ida-Viru County in the northern part of Estonia. I had never visited it before and therefore it was interesting because I love visiting new places. I loved one half of the down because of its architecture, however, the part with old 5- and more storey buildings that badly need renovations, weren't exactly my cup of tea. Here are a few pics of the places I liked :) My this summer I have been loving Belief Energy Water and Vytautas mineral water. Vytautas is probably a bit too salty for some and there used to be a time when I pretty much hated it, however, last summer I suddenly started to like it :D Belief Energy Water is like a energy drink, but it is made without a bunch of carbs, sweeteners, preservatives etc. One bottle of Belief Energy Water equals 1 cup of coffee. I absolutely love lime flavoured Belief Energy Water and I also like raspberry flavoured water. And finally my outfit :D Since I knew I will have to wa...

Hiking in Käsmu & OOTD & weekly link-up #111

Image
Better late than never! I'm late again with my weekly link up post, but I have been busy with working out, working on some other projects etc. Today we went hiking in Käsmu. Käsmu is a village in Vihula Parish, Lääne-Viru County, in northern Estonia. We started our hike from Võsu . Fromt there we walked 6km to Käsmu and then we hit Käsmu hiking trail which is about 15km long. After 21km we had a quick lunch and then we headed back to Võsu and drove home. The day today was simply perfect for hiking. It was sunny and around 20°C, so it was perfect for walking and enjoying the views and nature.    For the hike I chose comfortable clothes. I wore my favourite Röhnisch top and a pair of Yummie by Heather Thomson Lenox Leggings from Shopbop . At first I planned to wear my Under Armour running shoes ( seen here ), but at the last minute I decided to go with my Adidas Supernova Sequence Boost 8 Stability running shoes . Probably a pair of good hiking boots would have been a bette...

Beach outfit feat Free People, s.Oliver & Kate Spade

Image
I love weekends and I love sunny & warm weekends. This weekend was sunny and rather warm. Although atfirst we planned to visit Tallinn Zoo on Sunday, then those plans changed, and so therefore we ended up going to the beach. This time we drove to Võsu beach in Lääne-Virumaa in Lahemaa National Park . This beach is one of the most popular sandy beaches among holidaymakers in Lääne-Viru County . To the beach I wore my favourite Seafolly bikinis , that I ordered from , like 6 years ago, I think. I added Free People Carolina Tee that I ordered from Shopbop  a few months ago. I paired the slouchy off-shoulder tee with a pair of s.Oliver denim shorts and Kate Spade New York Frill Flip Flops. I accessorized my beach outfit with Guess sunglasses and Fitbit Blaze smart fitness watch. My 11 Favourite Travel Tips

Image
* Sponsored Although I haven't travelled the world, then at least once a year we try to have at least a one-week holiday abroad. Last summer we went to Crete and in the fall we actually had a 3-week trip to the US. We started from New York, visited Philadelphia, Atlantic City, Washington DC and then drove to Miami Beach. I absolutely loved that trip and I hope I can visit the US again soon! There are many travel tips and everyone has their favourite ones and today I decided to share with you some of my favourite travel tips. Be Flexible and Stay Positive Sometimes things just won't go as planned. Flights might get cancelled or delayed and there's really not much you can do about that. Just be patient and don't get stressed out. Choose the Best Means of Travelling There are different ways to get from one place to another. Some people love to travel by train, some prefer the bus, and for some, the only way to travel is by plane. Commercial...

The Beauty Products Every Girl Needs When Travelling

Image
Travelling is something that people tend to have a love/hate relationship with. We love the idea of getting away, relaxing, unwinding, and exploring new and exciting destinations. What we don’t love is all the packing and organizing that needs to be done in advance to ensure you have everything you need in your “home away from home”. We’ve put together a check list of beauty products that you’ll want to have on-hand while you travel. These items should cover everything and anything that may pop up beauty wise, allowing you to focus on having a great time! Your Favourite Face Cream It’s quite common for your skin to “act up” while travelling. This is all the more common if you travel to a spot that is dry, cold, hot, or humid. Anything that is basically out of the norm for your normal environmental conditions will begin to play havoc on your skin. This is exactly why you want to be sure to pack your favourite face cream, such as Makari , which is known for its extensive high-quality...

Hersonissos Palace Hotel, Crete, Greece

Image
Back in July, we spent a wonderful week in Crete. Surprisingly it was our third time in Crete! This time, we stayed in Hersonissos in Hersonissos Palace Hotel. The name of the hotel sounds fancy and it is a 5* hotel, however, its price is rather cheap. I had done my homework prior our stay there and so I knew that the hotel will not be as fancy as it sounds. In my today's post, I'll share with you my opinion of the place and also I'll share with you some quite a lot photos :P Juulikuus veetsime me kalli abikaasaga suurepärase nädala Kreetal.
