Plaid Blouse and Distressed Jeans & LINK UP #170

Image
Well, if I shared with you what I have been wearing outside for the last few days then it would be waterproof hiking trousers, waterproof semi-season jacket and a pair of wellies. This weekend was very rainy here where I live plus yesterday (Sunday) was also stormy and many households all over Estonia were without power due to the storm. Luckily our power didn't go out - we just had lots of rain and so there were huge puddles on our street and our backyard basically looked like one huge muddy puddle. Now onto my plaid blouse and distressed jeans outfit. As you probably know, I love simple comfy outfits and the outfit I'm sharing with you today is definitely both simple and comfy. For this look, I combined a simple H&M Divided plaid blouse and black H&M Divided tanktop with a pair of Femme Luxe cropped distressed jeans . I purchased both the plaid blouse and black tanktop this summer during the H&M summer sale. I like that both of them are versatile and I can co...

Elisheva & Shoshana Magnesium Hair Energy Maximum+ Scalp Spray

Image
I learned about Elisheva & Shoshana beauty products last year when they contacted me and offered me an opportunity to try some of their soaps and bath salts. Those products were oh, so good and since they are made of natural ingredients then even my kids could use them. For example, my older son who was 6 back then, loved the bath salts. Especially the ones with Magnesium Chloride seemed to work well for him. He has way too much energy and when I use Elisheva & Shoshana bath salts with Magnesium Chloride in his bathwater, he seems calmer. He is also a big fan of Coffee & Argan Oil soap. Elisheva & Shoshana products are handmade in Estonia. They are made of finest natural ingredients and suitable for people with sensitive skin and with allergies, babies and expecting mothers. Their products are free from parabens, silicones, petroleum, artificial colors, and synthetic fragrances. Elisheva & Shoshana toodetega oli mul suurepärane võimalus tuttavaks saada eelmise aa...

FOTD: Summer Memories

Image
Well, when I searched for some photos for my yesterday's post of my new gold jewelry from AUrate then I stumbled on photos of a makeup look I created back in July and for some reason, it didn't make to the blog back then (but if you follow me on Instagram then probably you have seen it). Oh, well, lets correct that mistake today. The reason why I named this post Summer Memories was that I created this look when the weather was sunny and warm. Also the eyeshadow shades I used for my eye makeup just remind me of summer. So onto the look. I started my simple makeup with Bioderma Hydrabio Perfecteur SPF30 followed by Avon Mark Glow On Natural Radiance Foundation SPF15 in Shell. Next, I applied some Essence Camouflage Full Cover Concealer in 05 Ivory where needed.  I set my makeup with NYX Mineral “Set It & Don’t Fret It” Matte Finishing Powder. I also used some highlighter from Essence Eye & Face palette in 01 Glow For It. On my cheeks, I applied Physicians Formula ...

My New Gold Earrings & LINK UP

Image
*affiliate links/sponsored Almost a month ago was my birthday and this year I received a pair of gold earrings and a gold ring as a birthday present. When I think about my birthday presents through the years then probably most often I have received earrings as my birthday gift. Why? Well, I'm a woman and I love beautiful jewelry :D Over the years my earrings style has become more simple. In the early 20s, I loved hoop earrings - and the bigger they were the better. But after my first son was around 1 year old it was time for me to start wearing smaller earrings so his tiny fingers couldn't grab them easily. I wear four earrings daily - two little dolphin-shaped earrings and one latch back earring in the right earlobe and one latch back in the left. So this year I wanted a very simple pair of gold ball stud earrings from AUrate. They are simple and small and I can wear them with everything 24/7. I only remove my earrings if a) I want to wear some other earrings or b) I...

Review: Budget-friendly Kilig Woman Gentle Cleansing Foam

Image
I don't know about you, my dear readers, but whenever I see an unknown cosmetics brand that comes with budget-friendly prices (read: cheap price) then for some reason I have my doubts about it. Is it really good? Does it work? Maybe it will ruin my skin? etc etc etc This is exactly what happened when I purchased Kilig Woman Gentle Cleansing Foam. Its full price is 7.99€ and I bought it when it was discounted and so I even paid less than that. I needed a new facial cleanser and so I decided to give it a try, although I didn't expect much from it. Ma ei tea kuidas teiega, mu kallid lugejad, on aga minul tekivad alati kohe eelarvamused, kui ma näen mõnda (minu jaoks) uut odavate hindadega nahahooldus brändi. Kas selle tooted on ikka head? Kas need töötavad? Võibolla rikuvad need mu naha? jne jne jne  Vot seesama kahtlus oli mul, kui sattusin Kilig Woman näopuhastusvahule e-Selveris. Hind oli tal normaalne isegi ilma soodukata (7.99€/150ml pudel), ent soodukaga tundus hind erit...

FOTD 11xEssence Cosmetics

Image
Who remembers when was the last time I showed you a makeup look? I really can't. It was just sooooo long ago. But today I want to show you this rather simple look I created with 11 different Essence Cosmetics makeup products. Some of the products I have already reviewed (I'll link the reviews for you) and some will be reviewed in the next 4-6 weeks (I hope!). I started my simple spring makeup look with Vichy Mineral 89 Daily Booster followed by Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Good Morning Retexturising Primer. Next, I applied Essence Camouflage 2in1 Make-up & Concealer in 10 Ivory Beige and then applied some Essence Cosmetics Cover Stick 20 Matt Sand where needed. I set my foundation and concealer with Essence Mattifying Compact Powder in 11 Pastel Beige. After that, I did my eye makeup. For that, I first applied Essence I Love Stage eyeshadow base to my eyelids. Next, I used shades Never Give Up (on the eyelid), Make It Happen (in the crease and outer corner) and...

Little White Lies & LINK UP

Image
Autumn is here ... I love all the colorful trees and leaves ... Unfortunately, it's raining and raining and raining. There are some sunny moments too but the last week we have seen more rain and clouds than the sun. And that's sad. The outfit I'm going to show you today isn't exactly an autumn outfit - I mean a light blue dress and white lace top and flats aren't exactly something I would associate with autumn. For this rather girly outfit, I paired a light blue Little White Lies Celeste dress and white Bastion lace blouse. I ordered Little White Lies dress a couple of years ago from Shopbop but I have never really worn it, although, I have had some ideas on how to style it. When it comes to the white Bastion lace blouse ( seen here with dark grey trousers ) then I have had it in my closet for almost seven years. Bastion is a well-known Estonian women's fashion brand that started in 1987. Their clothing is feminine and that's what I like about them. T...

New from Essence Cosmetics - first impressions

Image
Two weeks ago I received a package from Essence Cosmetics and today I'm going to share with you my first impressions of the products. Kaks nädalat tagasi jõudis minuni pakike uute Essence Cosmetics toodetega ning tänases postituses jagan teiega enda esimesi muljeid neist.  Cover Stick, Kajal Pencil & What The Fake Mascara Essence Cosmetics Cover Stick 20 Matt Sand has a nice texture and it's easy to apply and blend it. Shade Matt Sand seemed a bit too dark in the tube, however, once I applied it to my face to hide a few spots then it blended nicely. So far I'm quite happy with Cover Stick because it works well on the small spots and redness. Although I use it on my under eye area too then it might not be the best choice if you have problems with dark circles under your eyes. Kajal Pencil 01 Black has a nice smooth and creamy texture and so the application is easy. It is also easy to smudge it if needed. When it comes to the downsides I have experienced...

Nothing To Wear & LINK UP

Image
This weekend we actually had some snow here in Estonia. Let's just say that I wasn't very thrilled of the idea of snow and icy roads so early in October but at least my 7-year-old was so happy ... Until I reminded him that if it is that cold outside then he has to start wearing his winter clothes and snow boots and gloves. After that, he wasn't that happy anymore because he just hates those and every winter complains why he has to wear so many clothes. The outfit I'm showing you today is okay for autumn with the right coat and accessories. For this green and black outfit I paired my black Nothing to Wear t-shirt (from Femme Luxe) with a green Holly & Whyte by Lindex skirt. I ordered this feminine skirt back in July during Lindex sale and ended up paying less than 10€ for it. Of course, this skirt is more appropriate for summer but I think it will work great for autumn and winter looks too. At first I planned to add a pair of black patent heels but then decide...
