Another week has gone by. When last week I mentioned that the weather had been really nice lately then unfortunately last week was far from nice - rainy, windy and not warm at all. Last week also was Eurovision. I used to be very excited about it always stayed up late to see all semi-finals and finals, then this year I didn't watch it live but just the replay the next day. I'm a bit sad that Estonia's song ( Uku Suviste - The Lucky One ) didn't make it to the final, but oh well, you can't always win. I'm not exactly thrilled about the winning song this year ( Måneskin - Zitti E Buoni ). It was okay but not something I would listen to very often. My favourites from this year were Finland ( Blind Channel - Dark Side ), Norway ( TIX - Fallen Angel ), Malta ( Destiny - Je Me Casse ), Sweden ( Tusse - Voices ). Hi, lovelies! How have you been? It's Monday and that means it's time for an outfit post and weekly link-up. My today's outfit is again one of those "I went shopping in my closet" outfits. I haven't worn a maxi dress since fall and so I decided it's time to go through my maxi dresses and put together an outfit featuring one. I debated between three dresses but decided to go with this navy and white striped maxi dress. Back in October, I showed this maxi dress paired with two different white cardigans and yellow lace-up flats. And back in 2016, I showed it to you paired with a denim jacket and a pair of white flats. I had several ideas on how to style it for my Spring outfit, but for some reason, my vegan leather and ponte jacket seemed like a great choice. I went shopping in my closet again. And I stumbled on this purple tee. I purchased this tee in 2008 or 2009, and I used to wear it a lot back then! For the last 6 or 7 years, it has just been sitting in my wardrobe unworn. What still surprises me about this tee is that although it's purchased from a budget-friendly fast fashion store New Yorker then the quality of the tee is very good. This t-shirt is embellished with rhinestones (not that well visible on the photos) and all rhinestones are still there, although, I have washed it many many times in a washing machine using a regular program. So I must say that not everything that is sold in those fast fashion stores has low quality and is meant only for wearing once or twice. Although I was tempted to create a black and purple outfit, I ended up going with blue jeans instead. Hey, lovelies! How have you been? September. Time to wear all my comfy jumpers. Last week I wore my comfy navy and white striped jumper. I purchased this Tommy Hilfiger jumper a few years ago. I have worn it actually quite a lot but I think it hasn't made it to my blog yet. So let's correct that mistake now :) I usually just wear it with jeans, however, last week I decided to skip the jeans and wear a pair of black Vince Ponte Pants. I like these pants a lot. They are comfy and make me feel amazing. Since the weather was chilly then I added black Blank Denim Vegan Leather & Ponte Jacket. I accessorized my outfit with a pair of Tamaris Chelsea boots, that I purchased a year ago. These boots are comfy, and go with many different outfits, and I can walk miles in them. Hey, lovelies! How was your last week? My last week was pretty usual - just the usual things I do as a stay-at-home mom. But who knows, maybe in October things will change and I will start working full time again over 8 years. Black. Some people hate it and complain whenever they have to wear it. Some people love it wear it every day. I don't wear black daily, although around the age of 14 I wore black very often. Yesterday for some reason was one of those days when I just wanted to wear a black outfit. Maybe it was because of the chilly weather and the fact that days are getting shorter and darker ... A few weeks ago I stumbled on this perfect fall dress from Lindex. I needed a new simple dress and this multicolour floral mini dress seemed like a great choice. I love its colour combination and floral print. I like its flared silhouette, funnel neck and three-quarter sleeves. This floral mini dress is one of those pieces that you can easily dress up or down. It looks great paired with flats or heels, booties or boots.
