Shopping my closet OOTD: Purple, black & blue outfit

Image
I went shopping in my closet again. And I stumbled on this purple tee. I purchased this tee in 2008 or 2009, and I used to wear it a lot back then! For the last 6 or 7 years, it has just been sitting in my wardrobe unworn. What still surprises me about this tee is that although it's purchased from a budget-friendly fast fashion store New Yorker then the quality of the tee is very good. This t-shirt is embellished with rhinestones (not that well visible on the photos) and all rhinestones are still there, although, I have washed it many many times in a washing machine using a regular program. So I must say that not everything that is sold in those fast fashion stores has low quality and is meant only for wearing once or twice. Although I was tempted to create a black and purple outfit, I ended up going with blue jeans instead. So for my shopping my closet outfit I paired my rhinestone embellished purple t-shirt with a pair of  light wash ripped cropped skinny jeans from ...

7 Day Skirt Challenge #7dayskirtchallenge & linkup

Image
As promised in my yesterday's outfit post - here come my seven outfits for the #7dayskirtchallenge. This challenge was created by Gail from isthismutton.com . For this challenge, we could either choose one skirt and style it differently or wear a different skirt every day. I decided to choose one skirt and style it differently for each day. I chose a Splendid Fold Over Pencil Skirt. I purchased this skirt four years ago. You have seen it on my blog before paired with a cold shoulder top ; with a simple white top and with a striped top . And to think about it, the  rest of the time, this skirt has just been sitting in my wardrobe waiting for its time. It is a very good skirt because it is made of stretchy jersey and so it's super comfy! If you follow me on Instagram , then you have probably already seen all these looks, but I'll share more details of each outfit in this post. Day 1 of the 7 Day Skirt Challenge So for my first outfit, I paired my simple black pencil skirt...

Black wet look leggings and beige shirt dress & link up

Image
Hi lovelies! My today's outfit is inspired by Gail's (from Is This Mutton? blog) faux leather leggings and mint green jumper outfit . I was tempted to create an outfit featuring my black wet look leggings and light green jumper, but decided to pair my black leggings with this beige chiffon shirt dress instead. I have previously shown you this chiffon shirt dress worn as a dress paired with high heels and paired with black jeggings and flat ankle boots . This time I paired this Blue Vanilla chiffon shirt dress with a pair of black wet look leggings from Femme Luxe. I accessorized my outfit with black Tamaris heeled ankle booties, white Michael Kors watch and Mink & Stone necklace. When it comes to my ankle boots, then I have had them for 9 or 10 years. I used to wear them quite a lot but after having kids I hardly ever wear them. They are comfy, but unfortunately high heels are not the best option when I have to chase my kids around the playground. What I wore ...

Black, navy, white and stripes & weekly link up #191

Image
Hey, lovelies! How have you been? September. Time to wear all my comfy jumpers. Last week I wore my comfy navy and white striped jumper. I purchased this Tommy Hilfiger jumper a few years ago. I have worn it actually quite a lot but I think it hasn't made it to my blog yet. So let's correct that mistake now :) I usually just wear it with jeans, however, last week I decided to skip the jeans and wear a pair of black Vince Ponte Pants. I like these pants a lot. They are comfy and make me feel amazing. Since the weather was chilly then I added black Blank Denim Vegan Leather & Ponte Jacket. I accessorized my outfit with a pair of Tamaris Chelsea boots, that I purchased a year ago. These boots are comfy, and go with many different outfits, and I can walk miles in them. I didn't wear any necklaces or bracelets this time and only added Daniel Wellington Classic Southampton Lady watch. This watch added just a tiny pop of colour to my rather dark outfit. What I wore...

Green skirt & grey sweater outfit and weekly link up #188

Hi, lovelies! How have you been? I don't really want to admit it, but it seems that the summer is now over and the fall is here. This means that it's time to take out all those sweaters, jackets, tights, etc and make my outfits more fall appropriate. So today I have this grey and green outfit to show you. I just love this green Holly & Whyte by Lindex skirt. I have shown it to you so far paired with black tee and booties , and peach sleeveless top . This time I decided to pair my green skirt with a grey sweater. This cute sweater has been in my wardrobe for about 6 years and I usually wear it with jeans ( see outfit post here ). I accessorized my simple green and grey outfit with a pair of simple black Mary-Jane flats from Tamaris and a simple semi-precious stone bracelet. Simple Fall Outfit & LINKUP #171

Image
It's Monday and that means that it's time for the outfit related post and weekly linkup. Today I'm going to share with you my outfit from Saturday when we went to the movies with my older son. Although at first, my son wanted to see Playmobil: The movie then after seeing the trailer of Boonie Bears: Entangled Worlds we ended up seeing that one instead. Well, it's really weird how with some movie or animation trailers you pretty much get the idea of what the movie is about. But with this one, I wasn't really sure what to expect. Okay, adventure but what else? And even in the middle of the movie, I wasn't sure what is the whole point of this. But in the end, I actually liked it. And although it's for kids then I think there is also something for the parents to think about. Now onto my outfit. Although, I'm not the one who would really take or share a bathroom selfie, then here it comes because I didn't have the time for taking proper outfit shots. ...
