What´s your #partypose?

Image
Hi! Holidays are coming and hopefully lots of parties, too. Boohoo.com is having a competition where you have to style your perfect party outfit using at least 3 products from their online store. The look you create has to cost under £100.  Creating the look wasn´t easy, because there was just so many gorgeous dresses and shoes on boohoo.com to choose from. Anyway here is my quite modest party look that I would definitely rock.  Lara Lace Neckline Bodycon Midi Dress   - £25 from boohoo.com Tara Diamante Cuff - £5 from boohoo.com   nail polishes from e.l.f in Dark Red £2.50 and Golden Goddess £2.50  Danika Black Gem Earrings  - £6 from boohoo.com ASOS Foldover Sequin Clutch Bag  - £28 from asos.com Imogen All Over Diamonte Cigarette Platform Heels  - £25 from boohoo.com Total cost of the look = £94 I started with the dress. After lots of debating I chose this pretty dark red bodycon dress with lovely lace detail on the neckline. I paired it with platform heels that a...

NOTD: blue hearts

Image
Hi! Today I have a NOTD post for you.  For this mani I used Models Own nail polish in Indian Ocean. Indian Ocean is from Models Own Beetle Juice line and in my opinion is very pretty duo chrome nail polish. It is sheer and when used alone then you probably need more then free coats of polish for opaque result. I used 3 coats on nail polish and there was visible nail line. To add little something to Models Own Indian Ocean I decided to use some little blue hearts that I ordered from eBay a year ago. For applying these I first applied clear polish then added hearts and finished the mani with two coats of INM OTD top coat.

Review: MUA Makeup Academy Lip Gloss Shade 2

Image
Hi! Today I have a review for you about MUA Makeup Academy Lip Gloss in Shade 2.  I ordered this very inexpensive (it only costs £1)  lip gloss from  http://www.muastore.co.uk  some time ago. I have been using it daily and I like it as a everyday lip gloss. I ordered it because I had read some reviews about them that claimed that these lip glosses are good and also the information on their website sounded good: "...  They're perfect for a swish of colour without the full pigmentation of a Lipstick if you're not sure about what colour to wear. They're a high gloss finish with sparkly glitter inside and they bring a luscious look to your lips! They're moisturising and soft, so no need to worry if it's winter or summer!..."    And before I continue my review here is ingredients list:   And here is a swatch for you. As you can see this this lip gloss contains sparkly glitter.   So MUA Lip Gloss comes in a plastic tube with an applicator. Thanks...

Review: Reviva Labs All Natural Seaweed Soap

Image
Hi! Today I have Reviva Labs All Natural Seaweed Soap review for you. I ordered this soap from iHerb.com in August and I have used it once a day since I received it in September.   Information from the packaging: This soap is promised to stimulate circulation and help to discharge toxins. In Spain seaweed soap is even used as part of slimming or anti-cellulite routine. Actually that is why I ordered it and since it was quite inexpensive ($2.88 on iHerb) then I just had to try it. So when I received it then the first thing that I noticed was the smell of the soap.... in my opinion it stinks :S and my bathroom stunk because of this soap, but don´t let the smell scare you. The soap itself is actually pretty good. Usually bar soaps make my skin very very dry, but this one didn´t. It made my skin squeaky clean, but not unpleasantly dry. As you can see on the first photo then this soap contains darker particles. These particles are quite harsh and if you have more sensitive skin ...

NOTD: glowing in the dark ...

Image
Hi! Today I have a cute and simple manicure for you that glows in the dark. In daylight it looks like that - nice and sweet .... and when it is dark then my nails looked like that. So for this manicure I used Models Own nail polish in Pink Coctail and then added stickers from KKCenterHK.com. I finished the manicure with top coat. I was surprised how well these stickers glowed in the dark. They looked just amazing. Using these was easy and for those who do not know how to use this kind of stickers there was also a step by step instructions on the packaging. Products used: - Orly Nailtrition as a base coat - Models Own Pink Coctail - 3D Nail Seal Butterfly Design Pattern Glow Nail Seal-018 - INM OutTheDoor top coat KKCenterHk.com also offers 10% off code to all my lovely readers.  Code eisaamitte is valid until January 31st 2013 *These stickers were sent for me for the review. NOTD: Fluffy French

Image
Hi! Today I have a french mani for you, done using fluffy stickers from KKCenterHK.    For this manicure I applied my regular base coat (currently I´m using Orly Nailtrition) and then I used these N.Nail Black and White Leopard Fluffy Stickers: These stickers cost $2.90.  Using them wasn´t very difficult. I applied them on my nails and then filed off the excess part of the sticker. I was surprised how long they stayed on my nails. I mean I couldn´t use any top coat with these and usually stickers come of pretty quickly without any top coat. So I didn´t expect them to last not more then hour or two, especially since I have a baby and so I change diapers x times a day and wash my hands x times a day and etc. These stickers actually stayed on my nails all day!  *This product was sent for me for the review. All opinions here belong to me.

NOTD: butterflies

Image
Hi! It is Wednesday and I have a pink manicure for you today.     I used Models Own nail polish in Peaches & Cream and then added 3D Golden Foil Metal stickers from Born Pretty Store.                 Using these metal foil stickers was easy. I first applied two coats of nail polish and let it dry completely. Then I added one coat of clear polish and applied the butterflies on my nails. To make sure they won´t come off I added a coat of topcoat. I didn´t add top coat on my ring finger. I really liked the 3D result and I think this mani looks cute :P  I do have one complaint about this product thou. I really don´t like the packaging, because it is not resealable. Once you have opened it you have to find new place to keep them (I prefer small plastic jar).    If you are interested in ordering these or any other products from Born Pretty Store then here is a discount code that gives you 10% off  your order. *This product was sent for me for the review. I am not ge...
