My New Gold Earrings & LINK UP

Almost a month ago was my birthday and this year I received a pair of gold earrings and a gold ring as a birthday present. When I think about my birthday presents through the years then probably most often I have received earrings as my birthday gift. Why? Well, I’m a woman and I love beautiful jewelry 😀

Over the years my earrings style has become more simple. In the early 20s, I loved hoop earrings – and the bigger they were the better. But after my first son was around 1 year old it was time for me to start wearing smaller earrings so his tiny fingers couldn’t grab them easily.

I wear four earrings daily – two little dolphin-shaped earrings and one latch back earring in the right earlobe and one latch back in the left.

So this year I wanted a very simple pair of gold ball stud earrings from AUrate. They are simple and small and I can wear them with everything 24/7. I only remove my earrings if a) I want to wear some other earrings or b) I’ll dye my hair. This means, that the earrings I wear have to be comfortable so I can’t feel them in my ear and I can sleep with my earrings in. And these small stud earrings are just perfect for that.

I also ordered a new ring because you can really never have too many of them. Thick stackable twist ring is again simple, which I like, and I can wear it on its own or stack with other rings.

    Love your earrings! I received small diamond stud earrings, about the size of yours, years ago for my birthday. I wear them pretty much all the time, and like you only remove them rarely. Simple is my style and so they are perfect. Love your new ring as well! So pretty and delicate!

    I’m right there with you on having earrings I can live, sleep, and shower in! I really only take mine out when I need a change or have an event I have to wear something flashy to. I’m always on the hunt for earrings that are cute like this for my everyday pairs!
