It seems I haven’t reviewed a face serum in ages so let’s correct that mistake today. I purchased Dermosil Age Defence Elixir back in January along with Dermosil Day Cream Q10, Eye Cream Q10, and Night Cream Retinol. Age Defence Elixir helps reduce the signs of skin aging. It is also promised to moisturise and soften the skin and add a youthful glow.

Ostsin Dermosil Age Defence Elixir seerumi endale selle aastat jaanuaris, koos Dermosili Q10 päeva- ja silmakreemiga Q10 ning Retinol öökreemiga. Lubaduste kohaselt seerum aitab vähendada naha vananemise ilminguid. Niisutab tõhusalt nahka, pehmendab seda ja annab nahale noorusliku sära.
Dermosil Age Defence Elixir is promised to help make the skin look smoother. The serum has also the proven effect of making skin more tight and flexible, and the test persons have noticed that this serum made their small lines and wrinkles less visible.
My experience with Dermosil Age Defence Elixir
Age Defence Elixir comes in a glass bottle with a dropper. I have a love and hate relationship with this type of packaging. On one hand, I like that it’s in a glass bottle because glass can be easily recycled and it won’t interact with the product it holds. On the other hand, glass is heavier and breaks easily. That exactly what happened with my serum bottle – somehow I managed to drop it on my tiled bathroom floor and you can imagine the result – the serum and sharp pieces of glass were everywhere.
The dropper is convenient and I think it gives you much better control over how much product you use at once. Using this serum is easy – dispense some serum by the dropper to the palm of your hand. Then apply the serum on to the cleansed skin. After the serum has absorbed apply your moisturising cream. I usually followed the serum with Dermosil Day Cream Q10 or Night Cream Retinol.
The serum has a light pink colour and a light fragrance. The texture of the serum is rather thick, but it feels lightweight and just a few drops are enough. This means that one bottle of serum will actually last a long time.
After using this serum for the first time with the Night Cream Retinol, the next morning, my skin looked absolutely beautiful. My skin hadn’t looked that good for months. But I didn’t really notice that kind of wow-effect after that one morning. After using this serum little over a month my skin looked somewhat better but unfortunately, I didn’t notice much effect on the fine lines and my wrinkles were still there.
Overall, I have to say that I’m pretty happy with Dermosil Age Defence Elixir serum. This budget-friendly serum didn’t do any miracles but it did feel nice on my skin and made my skin look a bit better. Would I buy it again? Maybe!

Dermosil Age Defence Elixir seerum
Dermosil Age Defence Elixir peaks lubaduste kohaselt muutma naha siledamaks. Seerumil on uuringutega tõestatud toime muuta nahk pinguldunumaks ja elastsemaks. Katseisikud märkasid seerumise kasutamise käigus, et nende väikesed kortsukesed muutusid vähem märgatavaks.
Age Defence seerum on pipetiga klaasist pudelikeses. Selle pakendiga on mul selline nii ja naa suhe. Ühelt poolt on klaasist pakend ju hea, sest klaas on keskkonnasõbralikum ja lihtsamini ümbertöödeldav ning lisaks ei ole hirmu, et klaasist pakend kuidagi reageeriks tema sees oleva vedelikuga. Samas aga on klaas kaalult raskem ning puruneb kergemini. Just täpselt see minu seerumi pudeliga juhtuski – ühel ilusal (ok mitte nii ilusal) õhtul õnnestus mul see kuidagi plaaditud vannitoa põrandale pillata ning tulemust võite isegi ette kujutada – seerum ja teravad klaasikillud laiali mööda vannituba.
Pipett on mugav ning annab palju parema kontrolli kasutatava seerumi koguse üle. Seerumit on lihtne kasutada – tilguta seerumit pipetist peopesale ning kanna see siis eelnevalt puhastatud nahale. Kui seerum on imendunud kanna nahale kreem. Mina kasutasin Dermosil Q10 päevakreemi või Retinol öökreemi.
Seerumil on õrnroosa värv ning õrn meeldiv lõhn. Age Defence Elixir seerum on üsna paksu konsistentsiga, ent nahale kandes tundub seerum kerge ning vaid paarist tilgast piisab. See aga tähendab, et ühest seerumi pudelist jätkub üsna kauaks.
Kui ma kasutasin seerumit esimest korda koos Retinol öökreemiga, siis järgmisel hommikul nägi mu nahk kuidagi eriliselt hea välja. Ikka kohe täitsa wow kui hea. Kahjuks edaspidi ma enam sellist wow-efekti ei täheldanud. Kasutada sain ma seerumit veidi üle kuu ning selle aja jooksul mu naha välimus muutus mõnevõrra paremaks ja säravamaks, ent samas mu kortsukestele see küll kuidagi ei mõjunud.
Kokkuvõttes jäin ma taskukohase hinnaga Dermosil Age Defence Elixir seerumiga suhteliselt rahule. Mingit imet see seerum küll ei suutnud, ent mu nahk nägi selle kasutamise järgselt kenam ja säravam välja. Kas ma ostaks seda veel? Võibolla!
