Every spring/summer OPI comes out with new nail polish collection and this year they came out with Hawaii Collection by OPI. This collection consists of 12 polishes and I have 6 of them to show you. My dear husband bought me this travel exclusive mini collection when he was at Singapore airport on his way back to the UK. He texted me if there is anything I wanted and at that point I didn’t really know what to want and so I just texted back a couple of OPI Hawaii collection polishes names. They weren’t sellint the full size polishes at the airport, but they did have this mini collection and so he bought me that one 😛
In my OPI travel exclusive mini collection were shades:
- Suzi Shops & Island Hops – light pink creme
- That’s Hula-rious! – light pastel mint green
- Go with the Lava Flow – red polish with some golden shimmer
- Aloha from OPI – bright coral
- Lost My Bikini in Molokini – purple polish with creme finish
- This Color’s Making Waves – shimmery lagoon blue
OPI Suzi Shops & Island Hops is pretty, girly light pink creme. On my nails you can see to coats of Suzi Shops & Island Hops applied over a layer of OPI Nail Envy. Its formula is pretty good and for opaque result I needed 2 coats of polish.
OPI That’s Hula-rious! is light pastel mint green creme. It is perfect polish for someone who loves pastels. On my nails you can see two layers of That’s Hula-rious! applied over a coat of OPI Nail Envy. Its formula was rather good and it looked opaque in two coats.
OPI Go with the Lava Flow is red pink polish with pink shimmer. It looks really pretty – especially in sunlight 🙂 On my nails you can see one coat of Go with the Lava Flow applied over a layer of OPI Nail Envy.
OPI Aloha from OPI is bright orange-red creme that looks great even in just one coat. On my nails you can see one layer of Aloha from OPI, applied over OPI Nail Envy.
OPI Lost My Bikini in Molokini is purple creme. On my nails you can see two coats of Lost My Bikini in Molokini applied over OPI Nail Envy. This polish has good formula and so if you are careful with application then you will achieve an opaque result with just one coat. OPI This Color’s Making Waves is beautiful and eye-cathcing blue/green polish with shimmery finish. It looks absolutely gorgeous in sunlight (see 2nd photo 😉 ). On my nails you can see two coats of This Color’s Making Waves, applied over OPI Nail Envy base coat. This polish actually looks opaque in one coat, but I added second layer to add more depth to the color. So these are the six shades I own from Hawaii Collection by OPI. All these shades remind me of some other shades I already own, but at the moment I’m not sure yet which ones exactly 😛 My favorites from this collection are That’s Hula-rious, Aloha from OPI and That Color’s Making Waves. Do you own any OPI Hawaii Collection polishes? Which ones are your favorite from this collection?
