*Affiliate links Hi, lovelies! Unfortunately, I don't have a outfit to show you today, but just a chit-chat post. At the bottom of the post you can still link up all your fabulous outfit and style post! Christmas time has begun! The snow is falling and from yesterday, it doesn't feel weird anymore that we have our lights up since the end of October. I hope the snow won't melt but it probably will and that's a bit sad because I prefer snow over mud and puddles. This past weekend I planned to put up and decorate our Christmas tree. Well, that didn't go as planned. On Saturday, we started decorating our tree. I always start with a string of lights and then add the rest of the tree decorations. Unfortunately, one of the three sets of lights that I use on our tree was faulty, which meant I couldn't use it. Luckily there's a store in our little borough that also sells Christmas lights among other things. It's also opened on Sunday, and so I thought that I w...

Muscle Building 101: Diet and Workout Tips that will Help Grow your Muscles

Image
A good diet and an intensive workout routine are the two most important factors to consider if you want to build muscles. Unfortunately, many people tend to focus only on the hours they spend in the gym. They forget that during the other hours of the day, the body needs to support itself with the right nutrition when they are not working out. Only then will the mass-gaining equation be complete. If you are serious about building your muscles and improving your look, here are some serious tips that will help you on your journey. Photo by Scott Webb from Pexels 1. Avoid Using Every Gym Equipment If it is your first time in a gym, it is easy to fall into the temptation of using all the fancy and shiny gym equipment in the gym. Instead of trying every new piece of equipment you find, you should consider sticking to the basics and using free weights. If you want to build muscles, barbells and dumbbells are your best companions. Not only are they useful in building s...

Diamond-Cut Grades – What You Should Know About Them

Image
We all have our individual preferences when it boils down to getting a diamond cut; this is the jewel design’s fundamental aspect. Every diamond shape is unique, and no one is superior to the other. However, some cuts provide more brilliance than the other, which round-cut diamonds take the lead. Rings of this shape sit at the helm of engagements. But that’s not all; there are additional unique cuts to choose from, including Asscher, emerald, and princess. You can get any of these for your spouse, depending on her taste. However, other aspects like the price and its correlation with its quality fall within the buyer’s jurisdiction. Each gemstone has its carat weight as w...

How Every Family Should Prepare For Post-Covid-19

Image
If you have been watching the news recently, you'll know there's a lot of buzz about vaccines entering into the final stages of testing. Many of which are shown as high as 90% effective. Now, where you agree with vaccines or not is the issue we're going to be looking at. The bottom line is, now that there is some kind of hope out of this tunnel, many people will take it and that means a return to normalcy is around the corner. Or is it? Let's be honest, governments have printed a lot of money , there's a lot of debt, a high unemployment rate and that doesn't sound like a return to a normal world, does it? So, every family must prepare for this strange new post-Covid-19 world. Prepare for higher taxes Central banks have been pumping liquid into the markets, trying to prop up stocks, bonds, and businesses. But all this is going to come at a price. We won't feel it for a few months, but eventually, the governments around the world will do some belt-tighteni...

Black jumper dress and wet look leggings & weekly linkup

Image
Last week I showed you an all black outfit and seems that this week I have another black on black look to show you. My outfit was sort of inspired by the snow we had last week. There wasn't much of it but enough for a building a small snowman and spending an extra time for scraping ice off of our car's windshield. This time I wore a black EDC by Esprit jumper dress ( seen here with purple scarf ) and a pair of wet look leggings that I showed you a few weeks ago paired with a beige shirt dress . I added a pair of black knee-high boots (seen here with color-block dress ). These boots are just a perfect example of the different shades of black. I mean these boots are black, however, when compared to the shade of black of my jumper dress and leggings, they look more like dark grey. I accessorized my all black outfit with a thin black belt, semiprecious gemstone bracelet and a necklace. What I wore black EDC by Esprit jumper dress black FemmeLuxe black wet look leg...

Bedroom makeover with Photowall Wallpaper

Image
*PR Sample Back in July, our 2-year old finally moved out of our bedroom and started sleeping in his bedroom. That meant that we now had much more room in our bedroom, and we could now start our bedroom makeover. In a way, that makeover isn't difficult, because when we bought our house last year, then we said to the seller that we wanted simple plain white walls. That means that just a carpet and artwork on a wall can make a huge difference. Over the weekend, we started our bedroom makeover. And we started it with wallpaper. Back in February, I had an opportunity to work with Photowall. Back then, I added a touch of color to my simple minimalistic living-room with Photowall canvas print . But back in February, I also noticed Photowall's huge selection of wallpapers and wall murals and, I knew that once it's time to redecorate our bedroom or our boys' rooms, then I'll probably order my wallpaper from there. Choosing the Wallpaper I guess the most complicated par...

Black pencil skirt and black high neck jumper & weekly linkup

Image
Hi, lovelies! A few weeks ago, I participated in the #7dayskirtchallenge , where I wore one skirt and styled it differently for each day. Well, my today's outfit would suit well to that challenge because I wore again the black pencil skirt I wore for the challenge. This time, I paired my black Splendid Fold Over Pencil Skirt with a black high neck jumper that I purchased from Stockmann about 10 years ago. I have only worn it a few times so far, but the weather lately has been around only 1 or 2°C and so it seemed like a good idea. I added a pair of black high heeled boots, a black Mosaic wool coat, a gold watch, and a black & beige grab bag.
