Monsoon maxi dress& weekly link-up #231

July 5, 2021 By Miss L

How have you been?

Last Friday, I received my first dose of the COVID vaccine. I had a choice between three vaccines (Janssen, Moderna, and Pfizer-BioNTech), and I decided to go with Pfizer-BioNTech. For some reason, it just seemed like the best option, but again who knows in the long run. The vaccine shot itself hurt quite a lot which was a surprise because I didn’t expect it to be that painful.

When it comes to side effects I have experienced so far (it’s Monday morning as I’m writing this) are pain at the injection site and muscle pain in my left arm (where the vaccine was injected). Because of that pain, I couldn’t raise my hand much. On Saturday, I felt a bit tired and also had that unpleasant bloated feeling, although I hadn’t eaten anything that would cause that. On Sunday, my arm didn’t hurt anymore and I was again able to raise my left hand above the shoulder. Other than that I’m feeling fine.

Monsoon maxi dress

The outfit

I purchased this maxi dress back in 2015. The dress is from Monsoon. Although the colour scheme of the dress is darker than what I usually like for summer, then I loved the fit and style of the dress. And this dress has a beaded detail at the front of the dress.

beading at the waistline

I accessorized the maxi dress with a pair of rose gold Marco Tozzi sandals, white Michael Kors watch, Mink & Stone necklace and Guess sunglasses.

What I wore

  • Marco Tozzi sandals

What a beautiful maxi dress on you! 🙂 It’s good you recovered after the vaccine too. We are still waiting here – they haven’t even vaccinated all the hospital workers yet and it’s looking like it will be September before they get enough vaccine to give it out to more of us, very frustrating!
    Thanks for the link up!

Hope you are having a good week 🙂

Wow! That’s really bad 🙁 In Estonia, since the end of May, everyone above the age of 16 (if I’m not mistaken) can get their COVID shot.
