Shopping my closet OOTD: Purple, black & blue outfit

I went shopping in my closet again. And I stumbled on this purple tee. I purchased this tee in 2008 or 2009, and I used to wear it a lot back then! For the last 6 or 7 years, it has just been sitting in my wardrobe unworn.

What still surprises me about this tee is that although it’s purchased from a budget-friendly fast fashion store New Yorker then the quality of the tee is very good. This t-shirt is embellished with rhinestones (not that well visible on the photos) and all rhinestones are still there, although, I have washed it many many times in a washing machine using a regular program. So I must say that not everything that is sold in those fast fashion stores has low quality and is meant only for wearing once or twice.

Although I was tempted to create a black and purple outfit, I ended up going with blue jeans instead. So for my shopping my closet outfit I paired my rhinestone embellished purple t-shirt with a pair of  light wash ripped cropped skinny jeans from Femme Luxe.

The jeans and t-shirt seemed kind of boring together, and so I decided to add a black Blank Denim vegan leather jacket. I just love this jacket so much! And have shown it to you here on my blog many times. The hardest part of this outfit was footwear. I mean, since it’s Spring then I would have liked something lighter, but nothing seemed to have that perfect fit and my good old black Tamaris heeled ankle boots seemed to fit the best.
