I can’t believe it’s February! Usually, January seems endless, but this year, it flew by so fast. In just a few days, my hubby and I will celebrate our wedding anniversary. Although a trip to a spa would be nice, then we will probably just celebrate it at home with a glass of bubbly and some cake.
And in just two weeks there will be a Valentine’s Day. A couple of weeks ago I shared with you my list of Valentine’s Day gift ideas. I have also planned to do some Valentine’s Day themed nail art and makeup posts but I’m not sure if I will have time for those. And when it comes to the outfit I’m going to show you today then I think it would also work well as Valentine’s Day outfit.
Little black dress. My today’s Valentine’s Day outfit started with a little black dress. I ordered this ASOS black bodycon dress from asos.com, I think, 10 years ago or so. I have worn this dress only once or twice. So it has mostly just been there in my wardrobe waiting. This simple black dress is a sleeveless jersey dress. BUT what makes it special is its embellished neckline. So no need to worry about a suitable necklace to wear with this dress.
I paired the black ASOS dress with a light pink jacket. This simple jacket is from Femme Luxe. I have previously shown it styled with a pair of jeans and white tee. The pink jacket adds a nice pop of colour to my black dress.
I accessorized my black and pink outfit with a gold watch and … and a pair of yellow lace-up flats. Yesterday, when we took these photos, the sun was shining outside and although there is snow everywhere and it’s still winter here in Estonia, then I just wanted something bright to finish this look. So these yellow lace-up flats just seemed like a great idea.
My Valentine’s Day outfit idea
- black ASOS sleevless bodycon dress with embellished neckline
- Pink Rolled Sleeve Collared from Femme Luxe
- yellow lace-up flats
- Michael Kors gold watch

A perfect Valentine’s outfit! Good thinking to choose an embellished neckline to save on deciding about jewellery. I would love to see your nail art suggestions.

What a great blush blazer, it works so well with the little black dress and that is such a cute embellishment on the neckline! 🙂

I love your choice of colors. I always think of it as pink lemonade and sunshine and it is a nice color combination to brighten up a winter day.

Pairing up pink and yellow is a fresh and fun color combination. They would so well with a LBD and the whole outfit is a great option for Valentine’s Day.
