Striped maxi dress and white cardigan outfit + link up

October 5, 2020 By Miss L

Hi lovelies! How have you been?

A story… not outfit related … A few weeks ago our bathroom scale stopped cooperating with us and so it was time to buy a new one. We (okay, mostly mu hubby) wanted something fancier that would also measure body fat, etc. I was almost ordering Xiaomi Mi Body Composition 2 but for some reason, it just sounded a bit too good to be true for its low price and so, I decided to go with a brand I know – Fitbit. And Fitbit Aria Air seemed like a good choice and somehow it seemed that it will all the things needed.

Although, to tell you the truth I don’t really care much about those fancy extras. All I need to know is my actual weight. Anyway, so I ordered Fitbit Aria Air and received it last Wednesday. And unfortunately, it seems that it basically only shows you your weight. Oopsy! So I googled and read some posts and comments and seems that I haven’t been the only one who thought that this fancy bathroom scale would do more. So I’m glad that I’m not the only naive blonde who ordered it thinking it would do more than it actually does. So if you want a fancy-looking bathroom scale that is advertised in most places as diagnostic then go ahead and buy it but I’m super disappointed because it cost me 59€ and that’s just way too much for basically ONE thing it does. Okay, enough about that … let’s continue with the outfit(s).

Striped maxi dress and white cardigan outfit

Onto my outfit, actually outfits, now. These two outfits are very similar – I just changed the cardigan for my second look. I wore striped Soft Joie Maribel Dress (see here paired with denim jacket). I ordered this dress a few years ago from Shopbop. For the first version of my outfit I added short cardigan from H&M. For a pop of colour I wore yellow lace-up flats.

I accessorized my outfit with Fossil Cross Charm Watch and a layered necklace from Happiness Boutique.

For the second version, everything but the cardigan remained the same. For this look I paired the striped maxi dress with white oversized cardigan. I bought this cardigan a year ago from H&M.
