New from Essence Cosmetics – first impressions

Two weeks ago I received a package from Essence Cosmetics and today I’m going to share with you my first impressions of the products.

Kaks nädalat tagasi jõudis minuni pakike uute Essence Cosmetics toodetega ning tänases postituses jagan teiega enda esimesi muljeid neist. 

Cover Stick, Kajal Pencil & What The Fake Mascara

• Essence Cosmetics Cover Stick 20 Matt Sand has a nice texture and it’s easy to apply and blend it. Shade Matt Sand seemed a bit too dark in the tube, however, once I applied it to my face to hide a few spots then it blended nicely. So far I’m quite happy with Cover Stick because it works well on the small spots and redness. Although I use it on my under eye area too then it might not be the best choice if you have problems with dark circles under your eyes.
• Kajal Pencil 01 Black has a nice smooth and creamy texture and so the application is easy. It is also easy to smudge it if needed. When it comes to the downsides I have experienced so far, then I would like if it was BLACK and not just dark dark gray. Also, it seems to smudge during the day. But I will have to test it a bit more to give you my final thoughts on it.
• What The Fake Volumizing & Lengthening Mascara 01 black comes with bold promises. I have used this mascara for almost 2 weeks now and I still have my doubts about it. It does add length and volume to my lashes and if I apply two coats of mascara then the result looks nice. However, I’m not fond of the idea that this mascara seems to smear during the day.
• Essence Cosmetics Cover Stick peitepulk toonis 20 Matt Sand on mõnusa tekstuuriga ning seda on lihtne peale kanda ja hajutada. Kuigi toon Matt Sand tundus mulle tuubis alguses kahtlaselt tume, siis tegelikult sulandus see kenasti mu nahaga. Peitepulk on päris hea ning seni on ta päris hästi ära varjanud punnikesed jms. Kuigi mina olen seda kasutanud ka silmaalustel, siis ma arvan, et väga tumedate silmaaluste puhul ei pruugi Essence Cosmetics Cover Stick peitepulk piisav olla.
• Kajal Pencil 01 Black silmapliiatsil on pehme kreemjas tekstuur ja seda on lihtne peale kanda. Vajadusel saab seda ka lihtsalt hajutada nt suitsusema looki jaoks. Negatiivse küljena pean ära mainima, et päeva jooksul kipub see silmapliiats veidi laiali minema ning lisaks võiks ta olla ikka täitsa MUST, mitte tumetumetume hall.
• What The Fake pikendav ja volüümi lisav ripsmetušš 01 Black tuleb kahtlemata julgete lubadustega. Olen seda nüüdseks kasutanud peaaegu kaks nädalat, ent ma ei ole veel suutnud ära otsustada, mida ma sellest ripsmekast arvan. See lisab mu ripsmetele pikkust ning kaks kihti ripsmetušši annab üsna WOW tulemuse. Kahjuks aga kipub see ripsmekas päeva jooksul silmaümbrust määrima. [the_ad id=”24034″]

Contouring Duo Palette, The Blush & The Highlighter

• Contouring Duo Palette 10 Lighter Skin is, in my opinion, very good. I have used it a few times and so far I’m very happy with it. Both shades are easy to apply and buildable if needed. I prefer more natural-looking makeup and it works well for that.
• The Blush 10 Befitting is well pigmented and it has a good texture. It works well for both everyday wear and bolder looks.
• The Highlighter 10 Heroic has also a good texture and it is rather well pigmented. I like that although it’s shimmery then it is not glittery and so I don’t have to worry about turning into a disco ball.
• Contouring Duo kontuurimisduo 10 Lighter Skin on minu arvates väga hea. Olen seda mõned korrad kasutanud ning olen seni sellega väga rahul. Mõlemad toonid on lihtsasti peale kantavad. Kerge vaevaga saab selle duoga luua nii kerget kontuuri kui ka tugevamat.
• The Blush põsepuna 10 Befitting on hästi pigmenteeritud ning sellel on mõnus tekstuur. Seda on lihtne peale kanda ning kasutada nii kergeteks päevasteks meikideks kui ka tugevamateks õhtusteks.
• The Highlighter 10 Heroic on samuti hea tekstuuriga ning küllaltki hästi pigmenteeritud. Mulle meeldib, et kuigi see on särav, siis ei ole see sädelev ja seega pole ohtu diskokuuliks muutuda. 

Perfect Shine lipstick & Shine Shine Shine Wet Look lipgloss

• Essence Perfect Shine lipstick 05 Perfect Plan has a smooth texture and it is well pigmented. It glides on my lips with ease and feels moisturizing.
• Essence Shine Shine Shine Wet Look Lipgloss 18 Plump Me Up is a clear lipgloss with shimmery particles. It glides easily on my lips, however, it does feel a bit sticky and I’m not exactly fond of that. The lipgloss has a sweet minty taste and it causes a slight tingling sensation on my lips. Shine Shine  Shine Wet Look Lipgloss in 18 Plump Me Up looks beautiful on its own or applied over a lipstick. I like that it doesn’t dry out my lips.
• Perfect Shine huulepulk 05 Perfect Plan on mõnus pehme tekstuuriga ning hästi pigmenteeritud. Seda on lihtne huultele kanda ning see hoiab mu huuled kenasti pehmed. Huultele kantuna meenutabki ta mulle natuke nagu huulepalsamit – lihtsat värvi on kõvasti rohkem kui harju keskmisel huulepalsamil 😀
• Shine Shine Shine Wet Look huuleläige 18 Plump Me Up on värvitu sädelevate osakestega läige. Seda on lihtne huultele kanda, ent samas jääb ta huultel natukene liiga kleepuv. Huuleäikel on magus veidi mündine maitse ning minu huultel tekitab see sellise õrnalt torkiva/kiheleva tunde (aga see pole selline ebameeldiv tunne). Kena näeb see välja nii omaette huultele kantuna kui ka sädeleva kihina huulepulga peal. 

Crystal Power Blush & Highlighter Palette

• Crystal Power Blush & Highlighter Palette comes in a sturdy cardboard packaging that also has a mirror in the lid. The palette contains 4 gemstones inspired shades – two highlighter shades and two blushes. I like the texture of both blushes and the darker highlighter. Although the shade Shine Bright looks beautiful in the palette, then, I don’t like it that much on my skin. Who knows – maybe if I use it more then I will start liking it but at the moment I’m just not loving it.
• Crystal Power põsepuna ja highlighteri palett on tehtud tugevast papist ning paleti kaane siseküljel on ka peegel. Paletis on 4 kristallidest inspireeritud tooni – 2 põsepuna ja 2 highlighterit. Mulle meeldib mõlema põsepuna ja šampanjatooni highlighteri tekstuur ning pigmentatsioon. Kuigi ka valge highlighter (Shine Bright) näeb paletis välja kaunis, siis nahal ta mulle nii väga ei meeldi. Ent kes teab, kui seda rohkem kasutada, siis ehk hakkab ta mulle ka rohkem meeldima. 

Crystal Power Eyeshadow Palette

• Crystal Power Eyeshadow Palette also comes in a cardboard packaging that has a big mirror in the lid. The eyeshadow palette contains 9 (1 matte and 8 glossy) shades that remind me of autumn. I swatched all shades on clean skin without any primer and I think the pigmentation is pretty good and with the right primer you can get some great results.
• Crystal Power lauvärvi palett on samuti tugevas papist pakendis ning paleti kaanes on korralike mõõtmetega peegel. Paletist leiad 9 lauvärvi – neist 1 matt ja 8 läikivat. Kõiki toone katsetasin puhtal nahal ilma praimerita ning ma arvan, et lauvärvide pigmentatsioon on täitsa ok ning kasutades neid koos hea lauvärvide aluskreemiga võib saada väga häid tulemusi.
