Everything is new in September …
This year it’s just not September but there are many new things this year. For example this summer we finally purchased a house and so no more living in a flat! I know some people like and love living in an apartment but with small children, I really prefer a house or a semi-detached house.
Also, two weeks ago my soon 7-year old started school (in Estonia kids start school at the age of 7). And that meant many new things – new friends, new teachers, new rules etc etc etc. So far it seems that he likes the school, although, after going there for three days he was like “Do I really have to go again tomorrow?”. And all I could say was, yes, you will have to go again tomorrow.
I like that son’s school has a school uniform (so there’s another change in his life because he didn’t have a uniform in kindergarten) and so getting ready for school is actually somewhat easier than it was before when he just couldn’t decide which of his favourite cartoon tee he would like to wear. However, now it’s easy – just a pair of trousers and polo shirt or/and vest with a school’s logo. So no more arguing about what he should wear. Love it!
My 7-year old also decided to try a new after school activity and joined the judo class. He wasn’t really fond of the idea at first but after the first class, he couldn’t wait for the next one.
Well, but also new in September and the main reason for this post is what’s new in my wardrobe! I just had to share with you the newest addition to my wardrobe – some lovely pieces from Femme Luxe. See my previous post of Femme Luxe here!
So this time I also have four items from Femme Luxe to show you. When last time I chose a pair light wash ripped cropped skinny jeans, a white tee, pink blazer and oversized long sleeve shirt dress, then this time I decided to go with a black tee, a black strapless bodysuit, a black one-shoulder midi dress and a blue paperbag skirt. As you can see there was a lot of black in my order this time 😀 I chose these items because I can mix and match them and easily create different outfits.
So let’s start with the black one shoulder midi dress. I like to own a variety of black dresses for any occasion and so this one is a nice addition to my wardrobe. This dress is simple and I love that there are many ways to style it – with a belt, different jackets and necklaces, different shoes or why not boots.
At first, I wanted to pair this black midi dress with high heels but that would be sooooo expected and so I decided to accessorize it with these striped H&M slip-on trainers instead. These trainers are also new. I ordered these from H&M site back in August because they looked cute and they were on sale. To complete my look I added floral statement necklace from Happiness Boutique and Michael Kors watch.

Paperbag skirts are something that look very interesting and I kind of like them but I have always been afraid that they will make me look fat. But I just loved the dark blue denim paperbag skirt on Femme Luxe site and so I decided to give it a try. Well, I actually quite like it on me.
For my second outfit, I paired the dark blue denim paperbag skirt with black mesh strapless bodysuit. I added the same comfy pair of H&M slip on trainers, Michael Kors watch and layered necklace from Happiness Boutique.
When it comes to the black mesh strapless bodysuit then I have mixed feelings about it. I like its simple design but it seems that maybe I’m a bit too tall for it and therefore the fit isn’t the best.

And let’s finish this post with my new black tee that describes very well – Nothing To Wear :D. I paired my black ‘Nothing to Wear’ Slogan Cropped Top with dark blue denim paperbag skirt. I added striped H&M slip on trainers and Michael Kors watch.

Have you ordered from Femme Luxe? Which one of these looks you like the best?
