OOTD: New favourites from Femme Luxe. #Luxegal

Although I don’t want to admit it, then the fall is coming. Two weeks ago we had lovely warm and sunny weather but the last week was chilly, windy and cloudy, and there was just that hint of fall approaching there.

When I was still going to school (like 10-15 years ago) then August and fall meant that it was time to update my wardrobe because the school year was beginning (in Estonia school year starts on September 1st). I don’t go to school anymore but I still get that special feeling around this time and usually buy a few new pieces.

This time I picked some new outfits from Femme Luxe. Femme Luxe is a UK based women’s clothing store. They offer a rather good selection of fashionable clothing at affordable prices. I chose four pieces. These all seemed great basic items that I can easily mix and match and combine with clothes I already own and create many different outfits for almost every occasion.

So let’s start with this casual look featuring ripped cropped skinny jeans, white tee and pink jacket.

The scariest part of my order was the light wash ripped cropped skinny jeans. I mean, buying jeans is rather difficult because to find THE perfect pair can be a nightmare even if you are in an actual store and can try them right there. Ordering jeans online is even worse, especially when you are buying an unfamiliar brand. With some jeans brands, it’s easy because most of their products have pretty much the same sizing and so you know exactly which size you should get. But with these Femme Luxe jeans, I had no idea.

Yes, there was a size chart but I wasn’t sure if it’s 100% accurate. I decided to take the risk and still order them, hoping that the size chart doesn’t lie. Well, I’m very happy to announce that these skinny jeans fit perfect! Like really perfect! They are made of this nice stretchy material and they fit like a glove. As soon as I put them on, I knew that these jeans are made for me.

For my first casual outfit, I paired the cropped skinny jeans with a white tee and pink blazer. There was a time when I avoided white in my wardrobe. I seriously avoided it. Yes, I had like one or two white blouses for special occasions but that was it. Lately, I’m actually wearing a lot of white tops. And with two kids that sometimes isn’t the best idea …

I can really never have too many white tees and so I decided to order white Sweet But Psycho Print t-shirt. It is also available in black and at some point, I actually had both in my shopping cart 😀 The white t-shirt fits well and feels comfy.

I also chose a pink jacket. The Pink Rolled Sleeve Collared jacket looked like one of those easy jackets that you can easily wear with a pair of jeans or suit trousers or a skirt or dress. This jacket is also available in white and black but I decided to go with pink to add some color to my wardrobe.

The last item from my Femme Luxe order is this Black Lip Printed Oversized Long Sleeve shirt dress. Well, there was just something about this shirt dress that I liked. I will probably mostly wear it with leggings but it also looks great with the skinny jeans. I like this shirt dress because it’s so comfy! And its long sleeves are long! With some similar dresses/sweaters I have a problem because the sleeves are a bit too short but this one has just the perfect sleeve length.

How was my overall experience with Femme Luxe?

Well, I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t expect much of the quality of the clothing, however, all four pieces that I ordered, have good quality and there really isn’t anything to complain about.

When it comes to sizing, then I recommend checking out Femme Luxe size chart. And if you still can’t make up your mind then you can always contact their customer service. Everything I ordered fits well (even the jeans!) so I think their size guide is pretty accurate (or was at least for me).

My package to Estonia took exactly one week to arrive so that was a great surprise.
