How I Started Wearing Jewelry?
I started wearing jewelry around the of 12 or so. At first I wore cheap fashion jewelry. Since choker necklaces were really popular back then, then those were the ones I wore. Sometimes I combined those fashion necklaces with a silver necklace with a zodiac sign pendant. When I now think back to that time, then that probably wasn’t the best combination, however, at the age of 12, it seemed like a great combo 😀
Soon I started wearing rings too. My very first ring was my grandmother’s silver ring. The ring had a very simple design featuring the Estonian flag. Since I loved wearing rings then I soon bought some more silver rings. Although I wore quite a lot of silver jewelry then I have actually always liked gold, too. There was just a tiny problem with gold jewelry – back then it was just out of my budget.
I started wearing gold jewelry around the age of 17 or so after I had my ears pierced. At first, I wore the stud earrings that were inserted to my earlobes in the salon. Unfortunately, piercings weren’t healing and so I tried silver earrings. That didn’t work either and so my mom bought me a pair of gold earrings. After I started wearing those, the piercings finally started to heal and I started to wear more and more gold jewelry and nowadays gold is mainly all I wear.
My very first gold necklace was given to me by mom. I still wear that delicate gold necklace from time to time. I like that it goes with almost every outfit and it looks timeless.
Why I Wear Jewelry?
Why I wear jewelry? That’s actually a very good question. In the age of 12, I wore those cheap choker necklaces because all my friends were wearing them and you could see those in music videos etc. Nowadays I wear jewelry because of a habit, I think. I’m used to wearing my earrings and rings, and I hardly ever remove them. And when it comes to my necklaces and bracelets, then it’s a way to complete my outfits and express myself and sometimes to make a statement.
My Current Gold Necklaces Wishlist
Lately, I have been eyeing some more gold necklaces to add to my jewelry collection. Although I like eye-catching fashion jewelry and statement necklaces then I think it’s always good to own a few simple classic pieces. I believe there are times and occasions when those fashionable accessories just don’t work and so it’s better to accessorize the outfit with something modest.
From AU-Rate online store I found a great selection of delicate gold necklaces. I like that all these necklace are available in three options – yellow gold, rose gold and white gold. They look timeless, classic and modest – exactly what I prefer for everyday use. These necklaces look great with jeans and tees, or dresses or suits etc. There are just so many ways to style these and that’s what I love – I like when I can wear a piece of jewelry with different outfits.
I also found some really pretty gold necklaces from Shopbop. I haven’t checked out their selection of jewelry for months and I absolutely fell in love with these cute pieces – especially the tiny Sydney Evan robot necklace.
There’s also another gold necklace in my wishlist – a necklace with a pendant that symbolizes a family for me. I used to own a really cute gold plated necklace with a heart-shaped pendant that looked like mother and father holding a baby. Unfortunately, that necklace had very poor quality and so all the gold plating faded. I haven’t found the perfect necklace with perfect design, yet but I hope I will someday.

I love all of these necklaces! They are all so delicate and beautiful. I remember wearing chokers back in my tweens. I wear jewelry too and bracelets are my favorite.

I love a good gold necklace. These days I wear a white gold locket that carries some of my mother’s ashes with me everywhere I go. Obviously, it’s my most prized possession.

I started wearing jewelry when I was a baby and that was an earrings. My mom gave it to me and I was able to used that for so many years but sadly I’ve lost it. My favorite jewelry that I always like to wear are earrings, ring and a bracelet.
I don’t really wear jewelry. The only thing that I wear everyday is my wedding ring. Those necklaces look pretty.
Neck lace just makes any type of outfit level up. I am a fan of just the little ones. The smaller the pendant the better
Everything looks so pretty. I have never been much of a jewelry person but I do have a couple of necklaces that I wear often. My grandmother gave me an Italian Horn when I was little so I wear that one often but I love the looks of all of these!

I used to wear gold all the time. Recently switched to rose gold (my all time favorite) and white gold, as that is what my daughter wears. I love the very first necklace.
I think those are really pretty necklaces. I’ll admit, I don’t wear a whole lot of jewelry. I love it when you can find a nice piece that goes well with an outfit though. I need to work on wearing necklaces more.

I love wearing jewelry too. And I like white gold or yellow gold. I have a few of them, mostly gifts from my husband and my parents. Those necklaces are pretty.
