About a month ago I received my very first lenses from Eyesbright. It is an online store that sells all kind of contact lenses. They also offer false lashes, paper eyelashes etc.
Anyway about the lenses. I had never ever tried lenses before and so I when I first got the offer to try and review a pair I was bit scared, because the thought of putting something in my eye seemed bit very scary. Anyway as most of you know I am always ready to try new things and so I decided to give them a try.
So I was sent these Blue Artist Contact Lenses for the review. I chose these lenses because they seemed really pretty and unique and I have always wanted to have blue eyes 😛
These are yearly contact lenses, which means that you can wear them up to one year once removed from the transit solution or can be worn up to 90 times before being discarded and replaced. These lenses are for cosmetic or fashion use only so they won´t correct vision.
When I tried the contact lenses on for the first time then it took me quite a lot of time to put them on. Also I was able to wear them only for about an hour on the first day because my eyes started to hurt a bit. But now it is not really a problem to wear them all day. When I wear them now then I can’t even feel them.
The quality of the lenses is great and I JUST love the color and the design of these. In my opinion they look very very cool 😛 The size of these lenses is perfect for me and they have the same size as my natural irises
As you can see on the first photo they also sent me Max Optifresh Contact Lens Cleaning Solution with lens case. Inside the Optifresh box there is also very thorough instructions about how to insert, remove and clean your lenses and all the important DOs and DON’Ts. Like coloured contacts should be cared for just like standard contact lenses as you would be wearing them on your eyes. It is important to wash your hands clean befrore wearing these coloured contact lenses.
Since I had never tried lenses before then for me, it was very helpful reading material.
In conclusion:
Would I recommend these lenses?
Definitely! I had great experience with Eyesbright lenses. Even though it was scary to insert them at first, I love wearing them – they just look so cool and are perfect for costume party and of course for Halloween 🙂
