14 Days of Valentine’s Day | Matte Red and Nude Nail Art

It’s Friday! Yay! Let’s continue with 14 Days of Valentine’s Day nail art posts. Today I want to show you this matte red and nude nail art. Although I had a great plan with this one, then, unfortunately, this mani ended up in the fail category. I guess here’s the moment when some of you will ask that why even show failed designs, but I think showing only the perfect ones wouldn’t be right. No one is perfect and we all have our fails.

Käes on reede! Jee! Jätkame Valentinipäeva teemaliste küüntega. Täna on mul teile matt beež & punane disain. Kuigi minu nägemuses oli see täiesti suurepärane idee, siis kahjuks tulemus on rohkem feilimise kategooriasse kuuluv. Eks nüüd on see hetk kui mõned teist küsivad, et kas on üldse mõtet postitada untsu läinud projekte. Aga ma arvan, et kuna keegi meist pole täiuslik, siis on okei jagada ka neid tulemusi, mis mingil põhjusel ei tulnud välja sellised nagu plaanitud. 

I started my matte red and nude nail art with Zoya Anchor base coat. Next, I applied two coats of OPI Love Is In The Bare to my nails and let it try. OPI Love Is In The Bare is beautiful nude nail polish that is perfect for those who prefer sheer nail polishes. Next, I free-handed red hearts and stripes to my nails using red Nails Inc Gel Effect nail polish in The Boltons and a nail art brush. For the dots, I used a dotting tool. I decided to finish my manicure with another layer of OPI Love Is In The Bare. Although I thought, I had waited long enough for the red polish to dry completely, then unfortunately when I applied the last coat of polish to my nails the red polish smeared 🙁

Alustuseks kandsin küüntele kihi Zoya Anchor aluslakki. Edasi kandsin küüntele kaks kihti OPI Love Is In The Bare lakki ja lasin sel kuivada. Love Is In The Bare on kena mati viimistlusega helebeež lakk. Järgmiseks maalisin küüntele südamed ja triibud kasutades selleks küünemaalingu pintslit ja punast Nails Inc Gel Effect lakki toonis The Boltons. Punased täpid tegin täpitajaga. Kuna matt lõppviimistlus tundus mulle täitsa huvitav, siis kandsin lõpetuseks küüntele pealislaki asemel hoopis veel ühe kihi OPI Love Is In The Bare lakki. Kuigi ma arvasin, et olin viimasega lakikihi küüntele kandmisega piisavalt kaua oodanud, siis kahjuks ei olnud punane lakk ikkagi täielikult kuivada jõudnud ja seega läks punane lakk mingil määral laiali 🙁
