Hi beauties! I created this simple makeup look last Friday when I had to attend a friend’s birthday party. I wanted something simple and so I decided to choose products and shades that I like the most for simple looks and that make me feel pretty every time 🙂 For this look I used products from Urban Decay, Cargo Cosmetics, Essence Cosmetics, Elizabeth Arden, Laura Geller, Dead Sea Spa Magik, NYX, e.l.f & Avon.
I started my simple makeup look with Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Good Morning Retexturising Primer. I just love love love this primer because it suits well to my skin type. I followed this primer with Laura Geller Spackle Hydrating Moisturizing Under Make-up Primer. I know that using two primers together might not be the best idea, however, these two work great together for me and so whenever possible I use these them together. This reminds me that I have to buy a new Laura Geller Spackle Hydrating Moisturizing Under Make-up Primer because the one I have is almost empty 🙁 [show_shopthepost_widget id=”3000220″]
I waited about 10-15 minutes and then I applied Dead Sea Spa Magik BB Cream SPF15 in Natural to my face. For my everyday makeup I use this BB cream without primer(s) or moisturising creams, but for flawless makeup longer-lasting makeup I prefer using it with good makeup primer. Next I applied NYX HD Studio Photogenic Concealer in Fair/Clair under my eye area and Essence Camouflage Full Cover Concealer in 05 Ivory on the other areas on my face that needed concealing. I set my makeup with Physicians Formula Youthful Wear Youth-Boosting Powder in Translucent Matte Finish. [show_shopthepost_widget id=”3000222″]
For my eyebrows I used e.l.f. Eyebrow Kit in Light 🙂 [show_shopthepost_widget id=”3000228″]
Next, I did my eye makeup. I started my simple brown eye makeup with Essence I Love Colour Intensifying Eyeshadow Base. Next, I applied shade Hot Cocoa from Cargo Cosmetics Vintage Escape Eye palette, to the outer corner of my eyes and blended it to the crease. I also applied a little bit Hot Cocoa on my lower lashline. After that, I applied shade Dirtysweet from Urban Decay Naked Smoky palette to my eyelids and shade High from the same palette to the inner corners of my eyes. [show_shopthepost_widget id=”3000226″]
Then I added black eyeliner to the upper lashline. I used Essence Super Last Eyeliner in Deep Black. I finished my simple brown eye makeup with Avon Mark. Big & Daring Volume mascara.
Next I applied blush and highlighter where needed. I used Essence Satin Touch Blush in shade 10 Satin Coral and SKINFOOD All Over Muffin Cake Finish highlighter. I finished my simple makeup look with Essence Matt Matt Matt Longlasting Lipgloss in 03 Girl Of Today. This matte lipgloss is one of my all time favourite lip product from Essence! I don’t use it daily, but I do like it for those a little more special looks.
