Review: Aveeno Hydrosport Wet Skin Spray Sunscreen SPF30

June 16, 2017 By Miss L

I purchased Aveeno Hydrosport Wet Skin Spray Sunscreen SPF30 last autumn when I visited Miami and needed a good sunscreen to protect my skin. Aveeno sunscreen seemed promising and since I had a good previous experience with Aveeno Cream, I decided to give it a try.

Aveeno Hydrosport Wet Skin Spray Sunscreen with Broad Spectrum SPF 30 harnesses the unique water-repelling ability of ACTIVE NATURALS® Lotus Complex, a special blend with naturally derived ingredients. This exclusive formula provides superior sun protection and withstands wear-off from water and sweat. Lightweight and nongreasy, this revolutionary sunscreen forms a thin, breathable shield which clings to skin, even when it’s wet.

Aveeno Hydrosport Wet Skin Spray Sunscreen SPF30 comes in an easy to use 5 oz/ 141.5g spray bottle. This size is perfect for carrying with you in your handbag or backpack. I like that this sunscreen feels lightweight on my skin and it smells pretty okay.

I don’t like that Hydrosport Wet Skin Spray Sunscreen SPF30 feels so oily on my skin. No matter how long I wait, it still feels oily. It sits on top of my skin and just gets everywhere 🙁 What’s even worse – it wasn’t strong enough for my light skin under Miami sun 🙁 I still managed to get red rash (that sun causes, if I don’t use a proper sun screen) on my thighs after using this sunscreen 🙁  But at least it seemed to work rather well under Estonian sun this spring.

Overall, I’m very disappointed in this sunscreen. It feels oily and isn’t the best option for my light skin. Would I buy it again? NO!

You can buy Aveeno Hydrosport Wet Skin Spray Sunscreen SPF30 from Amazon.com / Walmart.com / Walgreens.com /

Hydrosport Wet Skin sprei sisaldab laiaspektriga SPF30 kaitset. Lisaks sisaldab see unikaalset vett tõrjuvat kompleksi.

Aveeno Hydrosport Wet Skin sprei päikesekaitsekreem on mugava suurusega aerosool pudelis.

EIIII!

Thank you for the review. I am always looking to try sunscreens, but I don’t like ones that I have to worry about getting on my clothes as I wear it year round, all day, etc.

This one isn’t the best option then 🙁

It’s so disappointing when a product doesn’t work as promised and sunscreen needs to work!

Yes, this products was disappointing, but I hope that other Aveeno sunscreens are better.

Ugh, oily sunscreens are the worst! I’m currently using La Roche Posay’s Anthelios line, which works very well on my oily skin.

The sunscreen that I use on my face is actually from La Roche Posay’s Anthelios line and I like it a lot!

oh what a bummer. I hope you didn’t get too burned. I’ll avoid this one – I hate that greasy feeling. What was your funnest part of the trip?

Luckily I didn’t get too burned, but it just felt itchy and my skin looked bumpy and red. I loved the whole trip! We started from NY and also visited Atlantic City, Philadephia, Washington and then Miami. We spent 3 weeks in the US but since we had so much to see then the time really flew by so fast!
