FOTD/EOTD: Smoky Eyes and Red Lips with Essence Cosmetics

June 10, 2017 By Miss L

I love to wear smoky eyes and red lips from time to time. I created this look this week using mainly budget-friendly makeup products from Essence Cosmetics.

Smoky Eyes and Red Lips

I started my smoky eyes and red lips makeup look with eye makeup. I first applied Essence I Love Colour Intensifying eyeshadow base to my eyelids. Next I applied the lighter taupe shade from Essence Smokey Eyes Set in 02 Smokey Day on entire eyelid. Then I applied the matte grey from Essence Eye & Face Palette in 01 Glow For It to the crease and dark brown from the same palette in the outer corner of my eye. Next I blended the eyeshadows. On the browbone and inner corner of my eye, I used the highlight shade from the Essence Eye & Face Palette.

Next I applied black Essence Rock’n’Doll Duo Stylist Eyeliner Pen to my upper lash line and Essence Extreme Lasting Eye Pencil in shade 05 Rockin’ Taupe to my lower lash line. I finished my eye makeup with Essence Volume Stylist Lash Extension Mascara.

I started rest of my makeup with Laura Geller Spackle Hydrating Moisturizing Under Make-up Primer.  I have this primer in sample size and I absolutely love it! Next I applied Essence Camouflage Full Coverage Concealer in 05 Ivory under my eyes and other parts of face that needed some concealing. After that, I applied Essence Soft Touch Mousse Make-up in shade 01 Matt Sand to my face. Since it has a matte finish then this time I skipped the powder.

After that I did my brows. For filling them in I used e.l.f. Eyebrow Kit. Next came bronzer (Essence Luminous Matt Bronzing Powder in 01 Sunshine), blush (Essence Satin Touch Blush in shade 10 Satin Coral) and highlighter (Essence Light Up Your Face Luminizer palette). I finished my look with Essence Shine Shine Shine Wet Look lipgloss in 13 Red Carpet Starlet.
