From time to time I love making smoothies. My favourite smoothie this week has been this healthy kefir apple smoothie with chia and flaxseed and baobab powder.
Aegajalt käivad mul smuuti tegemise hood ja sel nädalal olen ma fännanud keefiri-õuna smuutit chia – ja linaseemnetega ja baobab pulbriga.
For this healthy kefir apple smoothie with chia and flaxseed and baobab powder you will need
- 250ml kefir (or buttermilk)
- 1 apple
- 1 tbsp of organic baobab powder
- 1 tbsp of flaxseed
- 1 tbsp of raw organic chia seeds
- if you like sweeter smoothie then stevia or other sweetener of your choice
- if you like thinner smoothie then you can also add some water or ice cubes
Selle keefiri-õuna smuuti tegemiseks läheb vaja:
- 250ml keefiri
- 1 õun
- 1 spl baobab pulbrit
- 1 spl linaseemneid
- 1 spl chia seemneid
- juhul kui eelistate magusamaid smuutisid, siis võib lisada näiteks steviat, või mõnda muud magustajat
- kui eelistate vedelamaid smuutisid, siis tuleks lisada ka vett või näiteks jääkuubikuid
Directions
Add all ingredients into a blender. Blend until smooth or until you reach desired texture.
Töö käik:
Pane kõik smuuti koostisosad blenderisse. Blenderda kuni saavutad ühtlase segu või soovitud tekstuuri.

Your smoothie sounds interesting and came out pretty nice. I used to use flaxseed powder before. REally good for you. Excellent for hair, skin and nails as well when you ingest it. My smoothies never come out looking as nice as yours.

This has clean eating written all over it! I use those same ingredients all the time however, I’ve never heard of Baobab powder?!?

I hadn’t either, but about a month ago, in one of my local healthy eating group someone mentioned it. After reading about it benefits I decided to give it a try 🙂

In my opinion, it tastes good, but it probably isn’t sweet enough for some people 🙂
