According to the booklet that came with Lookfantastic Beauty Box, this month’s box has everything you need to get yourself glammed up and ready.
So what was in Lookfantastic Beauty Box September 2016 box?
Bliss Lemon and Sage Maximum Moisture Cream (30ml) is described as paraben-free moisturiser that rehydrates the skin to leave it feeling soft, supple and healthy. Sodium Hyaluronate helps to normalise the skin moisture content to help it retain water, whilst Coconut Oil and Vitamin E work to improve skin tone. Skin will feel firmer and smoother. This cream is white and it has a lovely pleasant scent. Once applied to the skin it feels lightweight and it absorbs quickly leaving my skin feeling smooth and soft. Since I have only tried for a couple of times then that’s pretty much all I can say about it at the moment.
Christophe Robin Purifying Shampoo with Jujube Bark Extract (75ml) is free from parabens, silicones and SLS. It is promised to gently cleanse your hair without irritating your skin or scalp. The natural blend of Jujube Bark and Cherry Flower Extracts work to purify the scalp and rid it of dry skin and flaking. It helps to give you softer and bouncier hair. I haven’t tried this shampoo yet, however, it does sound promising. So far I can say that I’m not fond of its scent because it smells like a product meant for men.
BareMinerals Marvelous Moxie mini moxie lipstick in Get Ready (1.5g) is formulated with a Vitamin A, C and E Complex, alongside Omega Fatty Acids and Abyssinian Oil. It nourishes your lips to keep them hydrated and conditioned. Get Ready is such a perfect lipstick shade for me! It adds a lovely colour to my lips and makes my lips soft. It feels rather moisturising on my lips and so far I like it a lot.
Lord & Berry Mini Luminizer Stick (0.7g) is a paraben-free highlighter that also doubles as a concealer to help mask dark circles and smooth out your skin tone. Its super milky formula blends beautifully into the skin to leave your complexion looking flawless and luminous. It helps to brighten up your face, while shimmering particles give a lovely radiance. This luminizer stick looks like a typical pencil. It feels soft on my skin which is nice. I haven’t used it much so far, but I think it is a pretty good highlighter.
Argan Liquid Gold BB Cream (10ml) is infused with Organic Argan Oil and 24 Carat Gold to nourish the skin and add hydration, all while giving you a beautiful golden glow. Although it comes only in one shade, then its clever formulation adapts to your individual skin tone to leave your complexion glowing, healthy and even. Well, when this kind of products come in one shade only then I’m always concerned how it will really look on my light skin. Luckily this BB cream doesn’t look very crazy dark and it seems to look fine on my skin. I would expect a little more coverage (especially for that price tag £70 for full size), but with powder it looks good and natural.
Gatineau Collagene Expert Eye Pads (1 sachet/2 pads) are described as an instant beauty treat. They are infused with Collagen to help smooth out fine lines and wrinkles. Glycerin helps to hydrate the eye area and reduce dark circles and puffiness. Allantoin soothes the skin and reduces irritation. I haven’t used these, yet, however, my hopes are high because Gatineau makes some amazing beauty products.
