Last year, in late September we had a vacation in Crete. Crete is Greece’s largest island. We had been to Crete before and so when last year we were looking for an affordable place for all inclusive stay then Stella Palace Resort & Spa seemed like a great option. During my holiday I did share some pics on my Instagram account, but I never wrote a proper blogpost about the hotel itself.
So in my today’s post I’ll show you some pics of Stella Palace Resort & Spa and also share with you my thoughts of it. Unfortunately I don’t have any photos of our room to show you because the first night we arrived I didn’t have time to take them and afterwards I completely forgot about it.
I can’t really complain about our room. We stayed at a standard room with a pool view. It was cleaned daily and the lady who cleaned our room was really nice. It would have been great if the rooms or pool area had free wifi. There was free wifi in the hotel main bar and in the lobby area, however, before and after meal times the internet connection was extremely slow.
Eelmise aasta sügisel käisime me puhkusereisil Kreetal. Instagramis ma enda reisist siis mõningaid pilte jagasin, aga pikemat postitust hotellist kus peatusime, ma teha siis ei jõudnudki. Igatahes tänase tuulise ja vihmase ilma puhul on just paras vaadata päikeselisi pilte hotellist 😛
Meie toast kahjuks mul pilte pole, sest esimesel õhtul ma ei jõudnud pilte teha ning järgmistel päevadel ei olnud mul piltide tegemine enam meeles.
Meie toa kohta kohta midagi halba öelda ei ole. Meie standard tuba oli vaatega basseinile. Tuba koristati igapäevaselt ning see oli igati puhas. Oleks muidugi super olnud kui tubades või siis vähemalt basseini läheduses oleks ka tasuta wifi leviala olnud. Tasuta wifi oli vastuvõtus ja baaris, ent enne ja pärast söögiaegu oli neti kiirus põhimõtteliselt olematu.
So let’s start with pool pics. Stella Palace Resort & Spa has two large fresh water swimming pools and two kids pools with water slides. I loved spending time by the pool enjoying coctails and ice cream 😛
Alustame siis basseini piltidega 😛 Stella Palace Resort & Spa 5 tärni hotellil on 2 suurt magevee basseini ning kaks lastele mõeldud basseini liumägedega. kaunite päikeseliste ilmadega oli mõnus basseini ääres chillida kokteile ja jäätist nautides 🙂
Besides sunbathing by the pool, you could also play mini golf, which was actually quite a lot of fun. The animation team also arranged different games and entertainment such as water volleyball, aerobics, darts etc. There are also different sports facilities, however we prefered jogging by the seaside.
Hotelli alal oli võimalik lisaks basseini ääres peesitamisele mängida näiteks mini golfi, mis osutus väga toredaks ajaviiteks. Lisaks korraldas animatsiooni tiim igapäevaselt erinevaid mänge alates vesipallist ja aeroobikast lõpetades õhtuse meelelahutusega.
The hotel area is clean and it was cleaned every day.
Hotelli ala oli väga puhas ning seda koristati igapäevaselt.
The hotel animation seemed okay and almost every night there were different events at the amphitheatre.
Hotelli animatsioonitiim oli täitsa ok ning peaaegu igal õhtul oli organiseeritud mingisugune meelelahutus amfiteatris.
Poseidon restaurant is the main restaraunt and it is huge! The food in the main restaurant was good and it was different almost every evening.
Restoran Poseidon on hotelli suurim restoran. Toit seal oli hea ning enamvähem igal õhtul oli valikus midagi uut.
There were also two smaller restaurants. The Asian restaurant La Veranda and Elia Gourmet restaurant. We visited them both and food in both of them was very good!
Lisaks suurele pearestoranile on Stella Palace Resort & Spa’s kaks väiksemat restorani. Aasia päraste toitude restoran La Veranda ja gurmee restoran Elia. Külastasime mõlemat restorani ning toidud seal oli tõesti head.
Overall I think Stella Palace Resort & Spa was a good choice for our holiday and it is one of those hotels that I would visit again 🙂
