Essence Make Me Brow & Gel Eye Pencil

Hi beauties! If you have read my previous posts of Essence Forbidden Volume mascara, All About Roses eyeshadow palette, The Velvets mono eyeshadow and I Love Stage Eyeshadow base, then you probably know that Essence products have won my heart. So far all Essence makeup products have been either good or very good. It’s hard to believe that a beauty product that doesn’t break the bank, can be so good! Some of them are even much better than much more expensive versions from competitive brands. Anyway, my today’s post is of Essence Make Me Brow Eyebrow Gel and Essence Gel Eye Pencil Waterproof in shades Gunmetal and Blue Lagoon.

Kui te olete lugenud mu varasemaid postitusi Essence Forbidden Volume ripsmetušist, All About Roses lauvärvipaletist, The Velvets lauvärvist ja I Love Stage lauvärvi praimerist, siis tõenäoliselt olete tähelepannud, et Essence’i tooted on jõudnud mu lemmikute hulka. Seni katstetatud Essence’i meigitooted on olnud kõik kas head või väga head. On üsna raske uskuda, et mõni soodsa hinnaga meigitoode võib olla nii hea ja kohati isegi tunduvalt parem kui mõne kalli brändi kordades rohkem maksev vidin. Enda tänases postituses peatun ma pikemalt Essence Make Me Brow geeltušil kulmudele ja Essence Gel veekindlatel geelpliiatsitel.

Essence Make Me Brow Eyebrow Gel Mascara

Essence Make Me Brow Eyebrow Gel Mascara is described as a 3in1 product to add colour, density and shape to your brows. The tinted gel contains tiny fibers that will in any unwanted gaps for beautifully defined and full eyebrows.

Make Me Brow Eyebrow Gel Mascara comes in a small tube containing 3.8ml product. This eyebrow mascara has a good small brush that. The tinted gel contains tiny fibers, just as described and so it helps to make my brows looking fuller and keeps them in place all day. The reason why I like Essence Make Me Brow Eyebrow mascara is that the shade 01 Blondy Brows looks so natural on me! It is perfect for everyday use because I can just quickly apply it and I’m ready. I do feel that this product probably will not work for those whose brows need a lot of shaping and filling because it really can’t make miracles.

Btw I have read that Essence Make Me Brown Eyebrow Gel Mascara is a pretty good dupe for Benefit Gimme Brow 😉

Essence Make Me Brow geeltušš kulmudele on 3in1 toode, mis lisab kulmudele värvi, tihedust ja kuju. Kulmugeeltušš sisaldab pisikesi kiude, mis täidavad ühtlaselt kõik pisikesed ja  heledad kohad ning tulemuseks on tihedad ja kaunid kulmud.

Make Me Brow kulmugeeltušš on väikese tuubis ning sellel on mõnusa suurusega hari. Toonitud geel sisaldab pisikesi kiude, mis siis aitavad kulmusid täita. Geel aga aitab hoida kulmud paigas terve päev. Põhjus miks mulle Essence Make Me Brow kulmugeeltušš meeldib on see, et seda on super mugav kasutada. Ma saan sellega kiirelt enda kulmud viimistleda. Toon 01 Blondy Brows näeb lisaks minu kulmudel ka väga loomulik välja. Muidugi pean ma mainima, et neile kelle kulmud vajavad palju täitmist ja viimistlemist, see toode kahjuks ei sobi kuna ta siiski imesid ei suuda korda saata.

Muide olen lugenud, et Essence Make Me Brow geeltušš kulmudele on peaaegu sama hea kui Benefit’i sarnane toode Gimme Brow. 

Essence Gel Eye Pencil Waterproof

Essence Gel Eye Pencil Waterproof is described as a gel eyeliner in a pen-shape. Gel Eye Pencils have soft, waterproof and long-lasting texture that comes in a retractable pen. These pencils are velvety and highly-pigmented.

Essence Gel Eye Pencils look like traditional eye pencils. I own two shades – 05 Gunmetal and 06 Blue Lagoon and they both have a lovely soft texture that glides on easily. Gunmetal is dark charcoal shade that contains tiny, almost unnoticeable golden flakes. Blue Lagoon is gorgeous teal shade with shiny tiny, almost unnoticeable turquoise flakes.

Essence Gel veekindel geelpliiats on geeljas silmalainer, mis tavapärase tuubi asemel on hoopis pliiatsikujuline. Veekindlal tagasikeerataval geelpliiatsil on pehme, veekindel ja kauapüsiv tekstuur. 

Essence Gel veekindlad geelpliiatsid näevad välja nagu traditsioonilised tagasikeeratavad silmapliiatsid. Minul on kaks Essence Gel veekindlat geelpliiatsit – toon 05 Gunmetal ja 06 Blue Lagoon. Mõlemal toonil on mõnus pehme tekstuur ning neid on lihtne peale kanda. Toon Gunmetal on tume tume hall toon, milles on tibatillukesed, peaaegu märkamatud kuldsed tükikesed. Toon Blue Lagoon on ilus tume rohekassinine toon, milles on tillukesed peaaegu märkamatud türkiisitooni sädelevad tükikesed.

When it comes to the waterproof promise then I tested both of these pencils on the back of my hand. I swatched them in the morning and left the swatches on the back of my hand to see how much they will fade and how they will survive water and soap. As you can see from the pic below both shades survived the test. After 12 hours, after several times washing my hands the lines were still there, although they had become lighter. It seems to me that although both shades are waterproof, then the shade Blue Lagoon has somewhat better staying power.

Mis puutub nende geelpliiatsite veekindluse lubadusse, siis selle ma katsetasin ära enda käeseljal. Swatchisin hommikul mõlemad toonid ära ja siis jätsin need swatchid terveks päevaks käeseljale. Päeva jooksul sai korduvalt käsi pestud ning tulemust näete ise allpool olevalt pildilt – 12 tunni pärast olid mõlemad silmapliiatsi triibud endiselt mu käel, küll heledamad kui hommikul, aga endiselt olemas. Kuigi mõlemad toonid on veekindlad, siis tundub, et toonil Blue Lagoon on mõnevõrra parem püsivus.

My opinion of Essence Gel Eye Pencil Waterproof

Well, Essence has surprised me again! Essence waterproof gel eye pencils in shades Blue Lagoon and Gunmetal are really good. As I already mentioned they have lovely soft texture and they are easy to apply. Also, they stay on my lashline all day without fading or smudging. To remove these completely I recommend using a good makeup remover meant for waterproof eye makeup 😉

Overall I like both of these Gel Eye Pencils and Essence Make Me Brow Eyebrow Gel Mascara because in my opinion they definitely live up to their promises and they are budget-friendly.

Pean mainima, et Essence on mind jälle positiivselt üllatanud! Essence Gel veekindlad geelpliiatsid toonis Blue Lagoon ja Gunmetal on suurepärased! Nagu ma juba mainisin, siis neil on mõnus pehme tekstuur ning neid on lihtne peale kanda. Lisaks püsivad nad edukalt terve päeva ilma tuhmumise või laiali minemiseta. Pean aga hoiatama, et nende eemaldamiseks on vaja head silmameigieemaldajat, kuna lihtsalt vee ja seebiga need lainerid maha ei tule 😉 

Kokkuvõttes olen väga rahul nii Essence Make Me Brow geeltušiga kulmudele kui ka veekindlate geelpliiatsitega, sest nad töötavad nagu lubatud! Ja lisaks on nad ka taskukohase hinnaga ning saadaval Selverites ning Laagri ja Lasnamäe Maksimarketis!
