A few weeks ago SammyDress contacted me an offered me an opportunity to choose a product from their site. Since they offer a lot of great fashionable pieces then deciding was difficult, until I stumbled on asymmetric coat that looked really cool on their site. I have to admit that my hopes were rather high, because of my previous good experience with SammyDress dress and blazer. My coat arrived a week ago and today you have an opportunity to see if it lived up to my expectations.
My SammyDress asymmetric coat arrived in a tiny plastic bag. When I took it out of the bag it really didn’t remind me anything that I remembered from SammyDress website and that is because although I asked them to send me THIS asymmetric coat they actually sent me THIS one. At least when I tried it on then for my great surprise it actually fit and its sleeves have the right length.
The quality of this SammyDress asymmetric coat isn’t unfortunately the best 🙁 The coat is made of rather thin wool and cotton blend material. On SammyDress website the coat seems to have faux leather trim, but actually it is some kind of polyester material and it looks and feels cheap.
This this SammyDress asymmetric coat is no good for Estonian winter (we are talking here about snow and minus °C 😉 ), but for fall and chilly summer nights its pretty perfect.
What I like about this coat is that you can style it in different ways: you can wear it with belt for more defined waistline or without a belt if you want to hide a kilogram or two 😛
