In March I decided to try some Elizabeth Arden skin care products and the first product tried was Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Refining Moisture Cream Complex. The main reason for trying this cream was that it was on sale and of course most of the reviews of it were positive too. Since this is 75ml jar and I mainly used it as a night cream, then it took me almost 6 months to finish this jar 😀
Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Refining Moisture Cream Complex is described as a classic moisturizing cream. It’s rich, emollient and protective. It cushions skin with moisture and provides an occlusive barrier to prevent moisture loss. According to Elizabeth Arden website tests have shown a significant reduction in the appearance of fine dryness lines and a dramatic improvement in skin’s appearance in just 14-21 days
As I already mentioned Visible Difference Refining Moisture Cream Complex comes in a 75ml/ 2.5oz glass jar. The cream itself is white and rather thick and it has quite strong scent that I didn’t like very much at first.
Once applied to skin, it takes some time to completely absorb. Once it’s absorbed (after 5 minutes or so) my skin feels soft and moisturised. I have read that some people have experience burning sensation after using this product, but luckily I didn’t have any problems with it. I like that it keeps my skin moisturised and it works well with Elizabeth Arden Good Morning Retexturizing Primer and Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish foundation.
I mostly used Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Refining Moisture Cream Complex as a night cream, because it is rich cream and just bit too rich for me for everyday use. When it comes to those pretty promises about a significant reduction in the appearance of fine dryness lines and a dramatic improvement in skin’s appearance then unfortunately I haven’t noticed ANY changes! I mean I used this product for almost 6 months and by that time there should be some result. Right?
Overall this is a nice moisturising cream, but in my opinion it doesn’t live up to its pretty promises.
Would I buy it again? NO!
