Beat dry skin with Selexir

Beat dry skin with Selexir

A few weeks ago I was contacted by Selexir – a company that makes products for people with sensitive skin. I have normal skin most of the year, but once the weather gets cold my skin becomes dry and the colder the weather gets the drier my skin is. I remember some extremely cold winters ( we are talking about -30Cº here!) when skin on my legs was so red and dry that it was even kind of painful 🙁

Selexir skincare products are high-quality products that appeal to diverse needs of skin. These products are free of synthetic, aggressive or even harmful ingredients. Selexir cruelty free products does not contain parabens, paraffins, silicones and mineral oil. Their packaging doesn’t contain any phthalates or biphenyl.

Selexir Peace Bath Instant Serenity Bath Salts

Selexir PEACE BATH - The anti-inflammatory bath salt

Selexir Peace Bath Instant Serenity Bath salts are enriched with healing minerals. The bath is beneficial for the treatment of extremely dry skin (xerosis), eczema (atopic dermatitis) and psoriasis, promotes relaxation and blood flow to the tissue and leaves the skin feeling fresh and supple. It also prepares the skin for a better absorption of body lotion. Selexir Peace Bath base is the Serenity Seed Complex (a seed oil complex of active ingredients extracted from black currant and black cumin) which is enriched with magnesium chloride. This impacts stress-relieve, anti-inflammation and provides the skin with essential vitamins, minerals and nutrients.

Selexir Peace Bath Instant Serenity Bath Salts

Selexir Peace Bath Instant Serenity Bath salts come in a 300g plastic jar. The product is almost fragrance free powder. There’s also measuring scoop included. I’m used to bath products that create at least some foam, but when I used this product for the first time then I was surprised that there wasn’t no foam. But the bath itself was nice and relaxing. Usually after showering or having a bath I have to use body lotion, because my skin feels dry, but after using Selexir Peace Bath Instant Serenity Bath salts in my bath water I didn’t feel any need for extra moisturising cream.

Selexir Peace Balm Instant Serenity Treatment

Selexir PEACE BALM - Supportive Skin care for eczema, psoriasis and xerosis

Selexir Peace Balm Instant Serenity Treatment is a nourishing balm that is developed for extremely dry, sensitive and damaged skin. It is also suitable as a complementary cosmetic care when dealing with mild to moderate eczema (atopic dermatitis) or psoriasis. Thanks to its natural ingredients Selexir Skincare Peace Balm will help to relieve itching; tension and extreme dryness of the skin; scaly and cracked skin; redness and skin irritation. This balm is promised to be so gentle that it’s even suitable for delicate baby skin. Selexir balm is ideal for the care of minor burns and abrasions, allergy-related skin irritations, or irritations caused after a heavy cold. It can be used to any sensitive skin zone such as the face, ears, neck, hands, elbows or dry skin parts all over your body.

Selexir Peace Balm Instant Serenity Treatment

Selexir Peace Balm comes in a 15ml plastic tube. The balm itself is white, thick cream that reminds me of cold cream that I sometims use on little mr.R’s face to protect it from the cold. I like that it doesn’t have any noticeable scent. When it comes to its nourishing properties then so far I’m amazed. Even though my skin is normal, then my cuticles and elbows tend to be very dry and so they need extra care. I absolutely love how this balm has been keeping my cuticles healthy! I haven’t had runny nose lately, but I believe that Selexir Peace Balm will be perfect for dry, red and irritated nose area 😉

Overall I’m so far happy with Selexir Skincare products and I love their Peace Balm, because it has kept my extremely dry cuticles healthy and nourished.

I also suffer from severe dry skin during the colder months. I am also not a fan of how many products on the market contain ingredients that I really do not want my skin to absorb. I will definitely check this brand out!

This is great for those who have dry and flaking skin. Would you recommend this as well to those who suffer from psoriasis?

As the temperature drops this fall, I can almost feel my skin getting more and more dry. It’s crazy how sensitive my skin is to dryness! It’s so great to learn about products that will make a difference, I’ll look for Selexir next time I stock up!

I don’t know how weird it is but my feet get really hot and dry at night. Here lately I feel like I’ve been slathering on lotion like a madman and am totally interested in trying some new products. I also have a spot of eczema on my knee that could really use some of this stuff! Great post!
