Deodorant is something we all use. There are many options out there, but many of these options contain aluminium salts and alcohol which may irritate the skin and clog pores. I have tried several natural and junk free deodorants in the past, but there is almost always something about them that I don’t like and so I haven’t purchased them again. When AA Skincare offered me an opportunity to try and review their Bergamot & Aloe Deodorant, then I was excited to test it, especially after great experience with their Seaweed & Aloe Refreshing Eye Gel.
AA Skincare Bergamot & Aloe Deodorant is made with naturally deodorising pure essential oils and it doesn’t contain aluminium or parfum. This natural deodorant is promised to be suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
Active ingredients:
- Aloe Vera helps to cool, calm and soothe skin and has natural anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties.
- Bergamot Essential Oil has great antibacterial and antiseptic properties which stop bacteria from reacting with your skin and causing body odour etc.
- Glycerin has great moisturising and hydrating properties.
- Saccharomyces Ferment is a yeast extract that helps to break down the compounds that cause body odour.
AA Skincare Bergamot & Aloe Deodorant comes in a 50ml glass bottle with a roller ball and plastic cap. The product itself is a liquid with very strong scent.
When I first sniffed AA Skincare Bergamot & Aloe Deodorant then I was quite shocked how strong its smell was and so I was afraid that maybe it will stay on my skin and so everyone will know that I have used it. Luckily after it dries the scent fades away 🙂 Thanks to the roller ball it is easy to apply deodorant to my armpits and it doesn’t irritate my skin, even after shaving.
On normal days it Bergamot & Aloe Deodorant keeps my armpits nicely dry. Sometimes on very hot days or after workout my armpits are still sweaty, but luckily there isn’t no unpleasant scent. So far this deodorants hasn’t left any marks on my clothes and that’s definitely a huge plus.
The only negative side I have noticed so far is that this deodorant dries on my skin quite slowly 🙁
Overall I’m very happy with Bergamot & Aloe Deodorant because it keeps away the unpleasant smell of sweat and doesn’t irritate my skin.

I love bergamot and aloe, and I use natural deodorants almost exclusively. This sounds like a deodorant that I would really like a lot!
I am on a mission to find the perfect natural deodorant. Definitely need to look this one up- I’m glad to hear that it doesn’t leave any marks on clothes.

I have tried many natural deodorants too, and so far my favorite is Lavanila. This one sounds great too!
I like a natural deodorant but the scent of this would be wrong for me.

This sounds like a great alternative to typical deodorant. I’ve tried the crystal type, but it’s not quite enough for during the summer.

Oh, this is terrific! Aloe in deodorant is smart – I use aloe to make sure I avoid razor bumps! 🙂
