L’Oreal Skin Perfection Micellar Water review has been sitting in my draft folder forever 😛 Seriously! L’Oreal Skin Perfection Micellar Water is described as a 3in1 product that works like a makeup remover, toner and skin soother. It is promised to dissolve all traces of makeup and draw out excess oil and impurities. After using it, skin feels soother and toned. Sounds great? Yes it does 😉
I received Skin Perfection Micellar Water a year ago (as a gift & not related to the fact that I have beauty blog). I had heard and read so many reviews of different micellar waters and so I was very excited to try this product from L’Oreal, who makes great budget friendly products. When I first applied L’Oreal Skin Perfection Micellar Water on to cotton pad then I didn’t have much belief in it. I mean, it looked like water and it didn’t have noticeable scent. But for my great surprise it actually WORKED! It really removed all traces of makeup (including my eye makeup) and my skin felt clean and not dried out.
Even though there were many things I liked about this micellar water then there were some I that wasn’t very fond of. For example I always had to rinse my face after using L’Oreal Skin Perfection Micellar Water, because if I skipped this step then I felt it on my skin and I didn’t like that. Secondly after I had used it for 2-3 weeks I had a breakout on my forehead <- something that hasn’t happened for ages and which cleared out after I stopped using this micellar water. To tell you the truth I wasn’t brave enough to give L’Oreal Skin Perfection Micellar Water a second try, because I didn’t want to risk with another breakout.
Overall I enjoyed using L’Oreal Skin Perfection Micellar Water until it caused me breakout. I liked that it removed all my makeup easily and left my skin clean, but as you can guess i wasn’t fond of the irritation that came 2-3 weeks later 🙁
