Is InstaNatural Scar Gel Cream the best scar removal product?

July 3, 2015 By Miss L

In March 2013 I had an accident with hot water, which left 2 visible scars on my right wrist. They don’t look very pretty and even though noone probably even notices them, then I know and see them there all the time and so I have been looking for the best scar removal product to get rid of these marks.

Almost a two months ago I was offered an opportunity to try cruelty free InstaNatural Scar Gel Cream, which is made with the best ingredients designed to give results, including Epidermal Growth Factor, Fucoxanthin, Astaxanthin, Green Tea & Gotu Kola. InstaNatural Scar Gel Cream is made in the USA and it doesn’t contain harmful parabens, sulfates or alcohols.

InstaNatural Scar Gel Cream is promised to help to diminish and erase scars over time by making them less visible. It is perfect for surgical scars, acne scars, burns, or other dark spots. You have to use this gel twice a day to soften the scar in color and watch it fade away.

InstaNatural Scar Gel Cream comes in a 30ml plastic bottle with a convenient pump. The product itself is brown gel with rather runny consistency. The gel has mild scent that lasts on my skin for a couple of hours. This scar gel seems so stain my skin around the scar.

I had VERY high hopes on InstaNatural Scar Gel, because of all those raving Amazon reviews where people commented that this stuff worked in just 2 weeks!?!? Too bad I didn’t notice much results in two weeks time, but as a experienced beauty blogger, I know that you can’t really tell if the product works as promised in just two weeks, because sometimes it just takes a little longer to see the result … So I continued using it.

I have been using InstaNatural Scar Gel Cream for 1.5 months twice a day (okay I have used just once a day a couple of times, because I just forgot to apply it 😛 ). As you can see there isn’t much difference on before and after photos, however if I touch my scar then I can feel that it is much softer than before and if the smaller scar had reddish edges before, then now the scar has more even color. What was weird with this product was that after I had used it for a week my scars started itching 😀 – it was the same feeling that you sometimes get when your wounds are healing.

Overall I’m disappointed in InstaNatural Scar Gel Cream, because even though it has made my more than 2 years old scars softer, they are still there and very much visible. According to Amazon reviews and 4.4 stars out of 5 rating, this product does seem to work very well for some people, but I guess it isn’t made for me 🙁

Have you tried InstaNatural Scar Gel Cream?

I can’t say because i’ve never tried it and can only speak from my point of view (and most black folks) per se, hen we get a scar it always leaves a hypertrophic scar that turns dark because of the melanin in our skin, we always use Metipac scar tape flatten and lighten our scars, it has silicone and hydroquoine and sticks like crazy until you take it off.

I have heard of Metipac or some similar products, but I’ve never tried them.

It’s annoying when a product doesn’t really work. 🙁 I love Bio Oil for scar removal.

Yeah it is annoying 🙁 but oh well it seems to work for some 🙂
I haven’t tried Bio Oil, but I probably have to give it a try! Thanks for the suggestion!

A friend of mine tried InstaNatural Scar Gel Cream and she was disappointed as well. Personally, I tried Skin Medica Scar Recovery Gel and it did the trick for me. After only a month of applying it daily, my scar reduced by 40%, a percentage I’m very satisfied with. I’ll give you a link to a review of it, in case you might find it helpful. ( )
Also, there are many other scar gels, so you might want to check them out too.
