A month ago I showed you four eye makeup products from Yves Rocher including this Yves Rocher Quad eyeshadow palette in Red-Hot Brown (see the post here). Well a month has gone by and so today I’m sharing you my final thoughts of this palette. Do I still love it? Read on to find out.

On Yves Rocher website this eye shadow palette is described as a palette with ultra soft shadows with fine texture that are easy to apply and blend. These eye shadows are promised to stay on flawlessly and not fade or change color.
This eyeshadow quad comes in a gold and black palette containing four buttery smooth shades: the two shade in the top row have satin finish and the ones in the second row have matte finish. Also there are 2 double-ended sponge applicators and a big mirror. On the reverse side of the palette there are instructions how to get the perfect eye makeup with these shadows. I think these step by step tips are great for those who don’t have much experience with eye shadows, because you will achieve a perfect look when following those instructions.
Yves Rocher leheküljel kirjeldatakse selles paletis olevaid lauvärve kui pehmeid lauvärve, mida tänu selle eriti peenele struktuurile on lihtne peale kanda ja hajutada. Lubaduste kohaselt peaksid need lauvärvid veatult ilma värvi muutmata või tuhmumata püsima kogu päeva.
Yves Rocher nelja tooniga lauvärvipalett on kenas kuldse ja mustaga karbis. Paletis on 4 tooni, millest kaks ülemise rea tooni on läikivad ja kaks alumises reas olevat on matid. Lisaks tulevad paletiga kaasa kaks kaheotsaga applikaatorit ning karbi kaanes on suur peegel. Paleti tagumisel poolel on lihtsasti järgitavad instruktsioonid, mida järgides saad luua kena silmameigi. Eriti on selline juhend kasulik päris algajatele, kes alles oma esimesi meigikatsetusi teevad.
These eye shadows are suitable for using both dry and wet. For the swatch photo above I swatched all four shades, using dry brush, on bare skin and over Yves Rocher Fixing Eyelid Primer. As you can see these give quite good result even without primer. Of course with primer the result is more intensive.
Neid lauvärve võib kanda peale nii kuiva kui ka märja pintsliga. Esimesel tooninäidiste fotol swatchisin kõiki nelja tooni kuiva pintsliga. Esimese rea näidised kandsin puhtale kuivale nahale ning teise rea näidistel kasutasin Yves Rocher Fixing lauvärvi aluskreemi. Nagu näete saab suhetliselt hea tulemuse saavutada isegi ilma praimerit kasutamata, ent intensiivsema ja kauapüsivama meigi jaoks soovitan ikka lauvärvi aluskreemi ka kasutada.
On the second swatch photo above you can see Yves Rocher Quad Eyeshadow palette shades swatched with both dry and wet brush. As you can see, when applied with wet brush the two lighter shades have metallic finish.
Teisel tooninäidiste pildil näete neid lauvärve nahale kantuna nii kuiva kui ka niiske pintsliga. Nagu pildilt näha, siis niiske pintsliga peale kandes annavad kaks heledamat tooni metalsema läikega tulemuse.
I have had this eyeshadow over a month now and I still like it a lot. It contains perfect easy to blend shades for my day and night-time looks and I like that they really stay on all day without fading or changing their color. During the application there is tiny bit fallout, but other than that I don’t have anything bad to say about this palette. I love it!

Olen olnud selle lauvärvipaleti omanik üle kuu aja ning see meeldib mulle endiselt. Selles olevad toonid on just täpselt sellised mida väga tihti kasutan nii päeva-kui õhtumeigi jaoks. Mulle meeldib, et toonid püsivad peal terve päev ilma tuhmumata või värvi muutmata. Lauvärve peale kandes pudeneb vahel veidi värvi ka silma alla, ent seda on tõesti ainult natu-natukene ja see on selle lauvärvi paleti juures ka ainus negatiivne asi mis väljatoomist väärib.
