It’s Sunday! Yay! And since it is Sunday then here is this week’s Sample Sunday post. Today I share with you my swatches and first impressions of Avon Ideal Flawless Invisible Coverage Foundation in shades Ivory, Shell, Natural Beige, Medium Beige and Nude. This foundation is actually available in 20+ shades, but I have only the shades that are available in Estonia.
Avon Ideal Flawless Invisible Coverage Foundation is described as perfection without detection. It is promised to offer complete coverage that looks and feels 100% natural. This foundation is oil-free and lightweight and comes with convenient pump dispenser.
Shades Ivory, Shell, Natural Beige, Medium Beige and Nude swatched on my arm.
Since I have light skin then I tested on my face two lighter shades: Ivory (on the photo below) and Shell. Ivory was good match, but shell was bit too dark and orangey.
I used Avon Ideal Flawless Invisible Coverage Foundation twice and so I can’t give very thorough review, but I can share my first impressions and thoughts while I was wearing it:
- easy to apply with Real Techniques Stippling brush
- feels lightweight on my skin
- doesn’t look cakey
- looks natural
- makes skin look more even and hides most of the imperfections
- starts fading after 4-5 hours
- stays better when used with primer (duh! logical 😀 ), but still not all day
Overall my impression of this foundation is good, but I’m not sure if I would buy it full size.
I guess this new foundation from Avon goes along with the trend toward weightless but full coverage. And it definitely gave you full coverage. Thanks for sharing!

This looks fabulous on you. I used to use Avon foundations in my kit – years ago because it worked well. It’s a bummer it fades fast because the formulation can be great if that wasn;t the case.
