NOTD: Blue, white and graffiti nail art water decals

May 6, 2015 By Miss L

I love turquoise blue and when I received a set of graffiti nail art water decals from Born Pretty Store then I knew that at least a part of my manicure will be turquoise blue.

Mulle meeldib türkiissinine toon ning kui paari nädala eest potsatas mu esikuvaibale (meil siin Inglismaal postkasti pole vaid kirjad ja muud väikese mõõdulised saadetised saabuvad läbi ukses oleva pilu) Born Pretty Store’st pakk, milles olid need vesikleepsud, siis olin kindel et mingi osa mu küünemaalingust saab olema just nimelt türkiissinine.

These graffiti nail art water decals from Born Pretty Store look really cool and actually remind me of a brush stroke manicure I created in November last year. These water decals arrived nicely packed. On the sheet there are 18 individual images and two long strips. For my manicure I used the long strips.

Born Pretty Store’st pärit graffiti vesikleepsud näevad välja lahedad ning meenutavad mulle natukene ühte minu eelmise aasta küünemaalingut (vaata postitust siit). Vesikleepsud saabusid kenasti pakituna ning kleepsulehel oli 18 individuaalset erineva kujuga mustrit ning kaks pikemat riba, mida vastavalt vajadusele saab ise lühemaks lõigata. Ise kasutasingi seekord just neid pikemaid kleepsusid.

I started my manicure with a coat of OPI Nail Envy base coat and then I added two thin layers of turquoise blue Illamasqua Noble and China Glaze White On White on my nails. Next I cut out suitable pieces from the decal sheet, soaked them in water for 10-15 seconds and then applied over the white base. I finished my manicure with a coat of Nails Inc 45 second Top Coat with Kensington Caviar.

Alustasin enda maniküüri nagu alati OPI  Nail Envy aluslakiga. Edasi kandsin küüntele kaks õhukest kihti türkiissinist Illamasqua lakki Noble ning valget China Glaze lakki White On White. Edasi lõikasin välja sobivad mustrid kleepsulehelt, leotasin neid vees 10-15 sekundit ja asetasin akstentküüntele. Lõpetuseks kandsin küüntele kihi Nails Inc 45 second kiirkuivatavat pealislakki.

I love how easy and fun water decals are. I love this mani you put together using these graffiti ones. I’ve never seen them on Born Pretty before, but I’ll have to look for them.
