Last week I showed you this floral blazer from Sheinside.com paired with a pair of jeans (see the post here). For my today’s outfit post I paired Sheinside floral blazer with yellow tube top and light blue maxi skirt from Aliexpress.
I ordered this maxi skirt last spring from Aliexpress. When it comes to Aliexpress then I have kind of love-hate relationship with it. You can find great stuff from there that doesn’t cost a fortune and has good quality and then there is a bunch of stuff that doesn’t cost much, but that is total rubbish – starting from clothes that have non-existent quality and ugly fake handbags to knockoff cosmetics that is made of who-knows-what.
So last year I wanted a maxi skirt that would be really a maxi (I’m 175cm tall and therefore some maxis just aren’t maxi for me, if you know what I mean). I couldn’t find what I was looking for from any of the stores in Estonia and nor was I able to find anything from my favorite online stores. Well at some point I decided to check out Aliexpress and for my great surprise I stumbled on this skirt. Well when it comes to clothing on Aliexpress and their given measurements then sometimes it seems kind of like a bingo – you might be lucky and receive a garment in right size, but you can also be unlucky and then you’ll end up with a itsy-bitsy piece of clothing that will fit only a 10-year-old.
I’m happy to say that with this skirt I had luck and it has just the right length for me, it is made of good fabric and it only cost like 11 or 12€ 😛
