Last week I shared with you my opinion of Olay Total Effects 7 in 1 Touch of Max Factor Foundation Moisturiser in Fair which was a great disappointment for me. This week I have Nip+Fab CC cream Light SPF 30 review for you. This cream also comes with many pretty promises, but does it really live up to them? Read on to find out.
Nip+Fab CC cream Light SPF 30 is described as a next generation BB cream, that is more advanced and gives better results. It moisturises skin 24 hours and offers SPF sun protection. Nip+Fab CC cream Light SPF 30 contains light diffusing particles that illuminate for a radiant and flawless looking complexion. Its light texture helps to correct natural skin tone offering a medium coverage and shine free finish.
I ordered Nip+Fab CC cream Light SPF 30 back in January, because it was on sale (its normal price is about 14£, I paid about 3.99£). It comes in a 40ml plastic tube. I bought this cream in shade Light, but unfortunately it is bit too orangey for my skin and so I have to blend it very carefully to avoid any lines. When I apply it on my skin then it actually doesn’t feel very lightweight and it reminds me more of a foundation than a CC cream. Getting even and nice result with this CC cream is a serious nightmare! I first tried applying it with fingers as I normally apply tinted moisturisers and BB creams. That did not work well and the result looked patchy. Then I tried different brushes. The result looked more even and there was some coverage, but when I touched my face it started rolling off my skin :S :S :S I mean really? I spend 10+ minutes to get some sort of okay result and then this happens? Horrible horrible horrible! This cream is promised to moisturise skin 24 hours, but I really didn’t notice it. And if I tried to use it with moisturising cream or serum then it the Nip+Fab CC cream was just sliding on my face :S
Overall this is the most horrible CC cream I’ve ever used! Would I buy it again? Of course not!

I have also heard great things about their products but this one was awful. I really hope that their other products are as good as promised 🙂

Wow! I know I would not want my face cream feeling like foundation. Sorry it was not what you expected.

I hate when that happens!!! So frustrating! If u wanna try an amazing BB cream I have 2 that are absolutely game changing! The 1st is Pond’s Luminous BB Cream. It only comes in 2 shades, light & medium, but the shade light matches me perfectly. It’s described as “luminous” but, thankfully, no sparkles or shimmer in this product. It’s creamy & moisturizing but not greasy nor does it feel heavy or look cakey. It’s a beautiful neutral tone so it’s not too orange, yellow or pink. This won an Allure Beauty Award twice in “the Best BB cream” category. It sets to a nice, dewy finish not not at all greasy. I love it & it’s been my holy grail face product for the past year and a half. Recently I discovered the new La Roche Posay Effaclar BB Cream in my local Duane Reade pharmacy. I’d already seen this on Instagram & online but hadn’t been able to find it in any of the stores by me that carry La Roche Posay. Well, last weekend I struck gold (I actually found all of the new drugstore beauty items I was looking for that day!)! Again, this only comes in 2 shades, fair/light & light/medium, but there was a tester for the fair/light shade & it’s a pretty close match, maybe a quarter of a shade too dark but I can make it work plus it’ll probably match me perfectly once I get some summer sun on my face! This product had all of the usual BB cream claims along with the 1 that got me wanting to try, blurring & pore & line minimizing. First off, the texture is insane! U sqeeze it out of the bottle/tube & it’s a mousse-like consistency & it feels lighter than air. I was “how could this possibly deliver on its claims of blurring my imperfections?” In the store I tried it on my chest, to shade match & it melted into my skin almost immediately, leaving behind a smooth, matte finish. I could definitely notice a huge difference in the are of my skin with & without the BB cream. I was sold! I grabbed the product in fair/light & right next to it was a $5 off coupon (score!) so I grabbed that too along with my other selections & headed to the cash register, very pleased with myself!
