Wet Brush Squirts review

March 19, 2015 By Leelo

In my this month’s Lookfantastic Beauty Box I received Wet Brush Squirts detangling brush. So far I have been using Tangle Teezer brush which I LOVE and it is my must-have hair care product. This brush is promised to glide through wet and dry hair and detangle without causing pain. I have used it now for a couple of times and I think it is time to share my experience with it and so here is my Wet Brush Squirts review.

Wet Brush Squirts is specifically designed for wet hair. It has super thin Intelliflex™ bristles, which are strong and flexible. These bristles are promised to glide through any hair type and effortlessly comb out tangles. The bristles’ flexibility enables protective and pain-free detangling while the SofTips™ on the very top of the bristles massage the scalp to stimulate circulation at the follicle. These bristles are firm enough to comb through knots, yet flexible enough to be gentle on the scalp. Wet Brush Squirts IntelliFlex™ bristles bounce back to their original form after each stroke eliminating all the hair breakage and pain that used to be associated with brushing your hair. The Squirt can be used on wet or dry hair and works on extensions and wigs. Sounds good, doesn´t it?

Wet Brush Squirts review

I received purple Wet Brush Squirts detangling brush. It is smaller than I´m used to and so when I used it for the first time it felt kind of weird. It’s bristles are really thin and sparse. I like that this brush’s handle is made of non-slip material and so it won’t slip when I’m combing my hair.

Wet Brush Squirts review To tell you the truth I didn´t have much belief in this brush, because it looks pretty much like a typical paddle brush. When I used it for the first time then it did feel kind of weird at first. But the more I used it, the more I started liking it. It detangled my wet hair nicely and it really was pain-free. Wet Brush Squirts’ bristles glided through my wet hair. Love it!

Is Wet Brush Squirts better than Tangle Teezer? Well, that’s a good question. At first it seemed that Wet Brush is no competition to Tangle Teezer, but when I started using it, I changed my mind. For me it is just as good as Tangle Teezer. These two brushes look completely different, but surprisingly they both work well when it comes to detangling wet hair. When it comes to combing dry hair, then I still prefer Tangle Teezer 🙂

So this was my Wet Brush Squirts review. Have you used this brush or are you thinking about trying it? I’d love to read your thoughts 🙂

I love my Wet Brush more than the Tangle Teezer now, simply because of the handle! And I like that the Wet Brush has fewer but more flexible bristles than the Teezer. Wish LF had sent me the purple, or the blue Squirt to go with my full-sized blue. I got a metallic green!
