Happy Sunday! I just finished with my today´s Almond pancakes (recipe here) and now it is time for this week´s Sample Sunday post. My today´s post is of Nivea Soft Refreshingly Soft Moisturising Cream. When I think of Nivea then the first thing that comes to my mind is their Classic Cream in blue tin. My mom used to use it when I was a child and I still remember this cream´s scent – it is just so unique – at least for me.
But onto the Nivea Soft Refreshingly Soft Moisturising Cream now. This cream is described as a highly effective everyday moisturiser suitable for all skins types and it can be used on face, body or hands. Nivea Soft contains the natural benefits of Jojoba oil to nourish and Vitamin E to protect and preserve the skin. The unique formula is quickly absorbed to leave skin sensationally soft, supple and invigorated.
Refreshingly Soft Moisturising Cream is white and creamy and it has this typical Nivea cream scent. It absorbs rather quickly and doesn´t leave skin greasy.
Even though this cream is described as a perfect cream for face, hands and body, then I have used it only on my hands and body. For some reason I´m not fond of the idea putting multifunctional face-hands-body creams-lotions on my face, because I´m afraid that they may break me out, leave my face unpleasantly oily or shiny or cause other problems. I know this sounds silly, but that just the way I am 😛
So even though I can´t comment how it works for face, then I can comment how it works for hands and body. As I mentioned it is nice and creamy and it absorbs nicely without leaving greasy residue. My hands tend to be dry during colder winter days and so my hands this cream is perfect, because it makes them so nice, soft and moisturised. It also great for dry elbows 😉
Overall Nivea Soft Refreshingly Soft Moisturising Cream is a good moisturising cream that keeps dry skin moisturised all day and it doesn´t cost a fortune 😉
