#RedCoatTuesday: Rimmel Apocalips Across the Universe

Happy Tuesday to you all! For today´s #RedCoatTuesday I have Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer in Across the Universe for you. I ordered  Rimmel Apocalips Across the Universe last summer because I just needed that extra 1-2€ to add to my order to qualify for free shipping 😛 and this lip lacquer was on sale for less than 3€ 😛 I don´t usually wear red lipstick and so for me this one was a huge step out of my comfort zone, but actually I haven´t regretted that I ordered it.

Rimmel Apocalips lip lacquers are described as lipsticks with intense rich colour, enhanced by a satin smooth shine. Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer is neither a lipstick nor a gloss… It’s BIGGER than both! Packed with pure colour pigments, its lusciously creamy, conditioning formula promises a never-before combination of colour, shine and comfort that lasts and lasts.

Rimmel Apocalips Across the Universe comes in a tube that reminds me more of a lip gloss packaging than lipstick one. it has doe foot type of applicator that makes applying the lip lacquer easy. I like this lipstick´s formula – it is really thick, creamy and well pigmented.

Well I can´t believe that there is finally a red that I like. Rimmel Apocalips Across the Universe is just the perfect red for me. I don´t wear it everyday, but when I´m in a mood for red then this one is my go-to lip product. I like that it is well pigmented and doesn´t feel sticky nor make my lips unpleasantly dry.

I have read raving reviews saying that this lip lacquer stays on lips for hours and hours … Well I don´t know… maybe it is me, but for me hours and hours would mean that it stays on my lips for at least 5 or 6 hours without fading. Reality is that if I eat and/or drink then it stays on my lips about 2-3 hours. After the lip lacquer has faded from my lips then there is still some red stain on my lips and at least my lips feel moisturised, which is nice 🙂

Overall I like Rimmel Apocalips Across the Universe, because it is nice combo of lipstick and lip gloss, that adds color to my lips and keeps them moisturised.
