The worst beauty products of 2014

In December I shared with you my favorite beauty products from last year and so today it is time to share the ones that were really bad or just didn´t live up to their promises and were disappointing. *Please note that even though these products that I mention in this post did not work for me than this does not mean that they will not work for you 🙂

So for me the worst beauty products of 2014 were …

• Mane n Tail Herbal Gro shampoo & conditioner are products that many love and many hate. They are promised to nourish and strengthen hair and make them grow faster. Well my hair did get longer, but not thicker. What was really annoying was the fact that my hair became greasy really fast with these and so I basically had to wash my hair every day. • e.l.f. Lash Extending Mascara came with great promises and had raving reviews on e.l.f site. When I first opened this mascara than my hopes got even higher because its flexible rubber wand with longer bristles on one side and shorter ones on the other looked really promising. unfortunately it only added some length to my lashes and that´s it. There was no volume or thickness and the mascara smeared. (read review here)
• Oriflame Milk & Honey Gold Hair Mask is according to some reviewers as good as professional salon products. For me this hair mask was a huge disappointment because it did absolutely nothing to my blonde hair. (review here)
• Avon Invisible Care Roll-on Antiperspirant Deodorant takes forever to dry on skin and as long as it wet on skin it will leave stain on clothes. At least it will protect unpleasant odour, but still I´m not impressed. (read review here)
• Avon On-Duty Roll-On Deodorant 48h Invisible Protection takes also forever to dry and I hate it´s scent and there really isn´t more to say about that product. (review here)
• Oriflame Discover Mexico Caribbean Breeze Body Scrub doesn´t remind me a body scrub in any way. It looks and feels like a shower gel and it´s scent is way too sweet for my liking. (review here)
• ModelCo Power Lash mascara is promised to have a unique formula that gives you the look of gorgeous, full, luxurious lashes. It gives your lashes a little more oomph and a lot more drama. The formula glides on smoothly and draws each lash out to show-stopping size and the unique brush reaches and beautifully lengthens even the tiniest of lashes to glamour-eyes in an instant! Sounds wonderful, right? Well it does add some length to my lashes but unfortunately it also clumps my lashes together and separating them takes time. In my opinion this mascara just doesn´t live up to it´s pretty promises, because I didn´t notice promised oomph and drama. (read review here)
• Avon Planet Spa Bali Botanica Body Scrub is another body scrub that is more like a regular shower product. I liked it scent and it lathered nicely, but I didn´t notice any exfoliation. (read review here)
• Avon Solutions Bi Phase Makeup Remover actually worked, but it ended up in this list because of the fact that if it happens to get in your eyes then it will sting like crazy. (read review here)
• Blum Naturals Daily Eye Makeup Remover is just useless, because it doesn´t really remove my eye makeup. (read review here)
• Avon Naturals Moisturising Hair Treatment Mask with Avocado & Macadamia didn´t add any moisture to my hair. And there isn´t anything natural about it either. Big disappointment! (read review here)
