Cargo Cosmetics Vintage Escape Eye Palette

January 21, 2015 By Miss L

Last week I showed you makeup look where I used eye shadows from Cargo Cosmetics Vintage Escape Eye Palette. This Cargo Cosmetics palette is actually a Fall palette that came out in 2013 (correct me if I am mistaken). It is sold out in most places by now, but if you are lucky then you can still find some on Ebay, Amazon and some other (mostly UK) sites. I ordered mine from Fragrancedirect.co.uk 🙂

Cargo Cosmetics Vintage Escape Eye Palette

Vintage Escape eyeshadow palette comes in a sturdy stylish-looking light brown palette. This eyeshadow palette contains 12 shades of neutrals, smoky browns and smooth charcoal that are perfect for both day time and night-time looks. There is also a mirror and double ended brush included to this palette. I´m usually not very fond of those stupid applicators or useless brushes that come with eyeshadow palettes, but this double ended brush I actually like and use 😛 It´s fluffy end is good for applying and blending eye shadows and it´s dense angled end is perfect liner brush.

I swatched all shades on my arm. I did not use any primer.

I have used this eyeshadow twice by now and I love it! Most shades in this palette are well pigmented and when I use them then there isn´t much fall out 🙂 However there is one shade that disappointed me a little – matte black shade Black Crow that isn´t that well pigmented and when used without primer looks more like dark grey than black. It is easy to blend these eye shadows and they last at least 8 hours without fading or creasing. I love how versatile this palette is – there are perfect shades for day time makeup looks and also shades that will work well for more dramatic night-time looks.

Overall I´m very happy with this eyeshadow palette and I´m very happy that I found it from Fragrance Direct and decided to order it 🙂
