If you live in the UK then whether you’re a man or a woman, a good waterproof jacket is a must-have piece in your wardrobe for those rainy and windy days. And Berghaus makes some great jackets that are perfect for every outdoor activity.

Berghaus waterproof jackets come with high performance fabrics and technologies. Berghaus range of waterproof jackets are perfect for any outdoor adventure. They use an extensive range of GORE-TEX and AQ2 technologies which creates an outer shell that is guaranteed to keep you fully waterproof and protected.
The Monsoon jacket I´m wearing on these photos is made of AQ2 fabric which is a trade mark of Berghaus Limited. It is designed for use on the hill, tried and tested, it offers good waterproofing, breathability and is lightweight. AQ2™ offers a moisture vapour transmission rate (MVTR) of 8,000g/m2/24hrs, meaning that moisture vapour can easily escape through the fabric enhancing overall enjoyment of the outdoors. AQ2™ provides a hydrostatic head of 10,000mm H20 column ensuring the fabrics remain waterproof and the end-user protected from all but the harshest weather conditions.
My experience with Berghaus waterproof jacket so far has been great. The last week has been quite rainy and windy and this jacket has been just perfect piece of outerwear to protect myself. This jacket really is waterproof and at the same time it breathes, meaning you will be still feeling try.
This jacket is really versatile, because you can use it basically all year round. On warmer days you can wear it over a t-shirt and when weather gets colder you can layer it with your favorite jumper, microfleece jacket or thermal baselayer. This jacket also has a hood that you can easily hide inside the stand collar.
As a mom of a toddler I have to squat down a lot. I love that this jacket has great design which is longer on the backside and so whatever I´m doing my back is still covered.
What I´m wearing
- Berghaus Monsoon waterproof jacket
- Tommy Hilfiger jeans
- Helly Hansen microfleece neck
- Crocs Crocband™ II.5 Lace Boots

I have a Berghaus thermal fleece which I bought for when we took the kids to Lapland some years ago. It was -30 outside and I have to say the fleece kept me snug and dry. Most impressed with the quality. Tx
