After I started blogging more than 3.5 years ago I have tried and tested many many beauty products, but there are some that have become a must in my beauty routine and I reach for them often.
So this year I´m thankful for these beauty products
Urban Decay Naked 2 palette – (swatches here) I´ve had this palette actually over 2 years and I still love it. It has perfect shades for both day and night time looks and if I had to choose just one eyeshadow palette then at the moment it would be this one.
e.l.f. Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths – (review here) – I like these a lot! They remove all my makeup (including stuborn waterproof mascara) easily. I don´t use them every day, but when I´m travelling then these are my must-haves for cleansing my face.
New CID Translucent Loose Powder – I have had this one since early October and I use it almost every day. It is really fine powder and it gives me nice flawless finish and set my makeup nicely.
Decleor BB Cream 24 Hour Moisture Activator SPF15 in Light – I have been using this one also since early October and what I like about this Decleor BB cream is that this one actually moisturises really well and it offers light coverage which is just enough for me for every day wear. Overall I´m really happy that there are BB creams and CC creams that are multifunctional offering both a light coverage and moisturising my skin.
OPI Nail Envy – this summer my nails started breaking like crazy and so when I googled for a good base coat that would also strengthen nails, then this one was highly recommended. I´ve been using since September and I have to say I´m thankful for this product! My nails are not breaking any more and I can again have longer nails. Yay!
Goldwell Rich Repair hair mask – my blonde highlighted hair need extra nourishing from time to time and hair masks that work in 60 seconds are my favorite ones.
e.l.f. Eyebrow Kit – (review here) – e.l.f has hits and misses, but for me Eyebrow Kit is a hit! I´m really happy that I discovered it does great job keeping my brows in place all day and it costs about 3$.
Essie Good To Go top coat – A good quick drying top coat is something I´m really thankful for, because I don´t have time for just sitting minutes and minutes to wait t my nail polish to try completely. Essie Good To Go has so far proved to be a good quick drying top coat.
Tangle Teezer – (review here) – combing or brushing my wet hair was a nightmare before Tangle Teezer. Somehow Tangle Teezer just kind of glides through my wet (and dry hair) without pulling my hair. I love using it!
Batiste Dry Shampoo – (review here) – To who ever invented dry shampoo: Thank you! Seriously thank you! Washing your hair too often is not very good and so dry shampoo is something that will help to make hair clean just a day longer. Batiste Dry Shampoos are my favorite ones, but I also like more budget friendly Boots Dry Shampoo which is almost as good as Batiste products.
Lancome Hypnose Waterproof mascara – (review here) – I like both Lancome Hypnose Waterproof and non waterproof versions. They add volume and length to my lashes, won´t smear or flake. I wish I had tried them sooner, because I love them!
Makeup brushes – To achieve beautiful flawless makeup you need good makeup brushes! I´ve no idea how I was able to apply my makeup without good makeup brushes when I was a teen. The makeup brushes I´m reallly thankful for are …
- Sigma F30 Large Powder brush
- Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman Stippling brush
- Sigma F40 Large Angled Contour brush
- Royal & Langnickel C111-S blush brush
- Sigma P88 Precision Flat Angled brush
- Royal & Langnickel C521-S Brow/Lash groomer
- Royal & Langnickel BC491 Angled brow brush
- Sigma E40 Tapered Blending brush
- Sigma E55 Eye Shading brush
- Sigma E70 Medium Angled Shading brush
- Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman Base Shadow Brush
- Sigma E30 Pencil brush
So these were the beauty products I´m thankful for. There are actually more of them, but these were the ones that I´m loving the most right now and I´m glad that they are working for me so well.
