Andalou Naturals Age Defying Skin Care Essentials 5 Piece Kit

I ordered this Andalou Naturals Age Defying Skin Care Essentials 5 Piece Kit in May from iHerb and used it this summer. This is great set for travelling or just testing out new products, but are the products any good?

This 5 piece kit consists of cleanser, exfoliator, toner, day cream & night cream.

All these products are gluten and GMO free. They don´t contain parabens, sulfates or phthalates and they haven´t been tested on animals 🙂

Apricot Probiotic Cleansing Milk contains Fruit Stem Cell Complex and probiotic microflora that calm irritation and stimulate cell turnover for improved dermal immunity. Nourishing aloe vera, apricot, and borage oils gently loosen and remove make-up and impurities, while restoring intracellular moisture and a healthy glow. It´s soap-free formula helps to achieve revitalized complexion. For using apply on damp skin in the mornings and evenings. Massage gently and rinse.

This cleansing milk was pretty good. It had really good scent and so using is it was really pleasant. Even though it did not lather, it did pretty good job removing makeup. Depending on what I was using it sometimes didn´t remove all my makeup, but most of it. It didn´t make my skin unpleasantly dry, but at the same time there wasn´t this nice moisturised feeling either. Overall it was nice cleanser, but I wouldn´t purchase it in full size.

Blossom + Leaf Toning Refresher also contains Fruit Stem Cell Complex, superfruit antioxidants and aloe vera polysaccharides to protect, hydrate and replenish essential nutrients, soothing irrtation and balancing skin´s delicate pH, as uplifting notes of geranium and orange leaf refresh for a healthy glow. Use after cleansing. Saturate cotton pad and gently sweep ovver face and neck to balance pH and prepare skin for moisturising.

This toner had herbal scent and it left my skin feeling fresh. It did great job removing the last traces of makeup from my skin. Sometimes it caused kind of tingling feeling around my nose so it may cause irritation if you have a sensitive skin. Overall I liked this toner and I would purchase it in full size 🙂

Bioactive 8 Berry Fruit Enzyme Mask contains Fruit Stem Cells, BioActive 8 Berry Complex and Resveratrol Q10 to slow cellular damage and stimulate skin firming collagen and elastin. Fruit juice enzymes gently dissolve dull, dry surface cells to reveal skin´s vitality and ageless beauty. Apply evenly to dry and clean skin avoiding lip and eye areas. Leave on for 10 minutes and then rinse clean with cool water. Use 1-3 times a week as needed.

This mask was pink gel and it had lovely berry scent. It was easy to apply it on my face. Once applied on my skin it felt sticky and tight. After rinsing, my skin was nicely smooth and soft. I liked usinf this mask and this one I would buy in full size, too.

Super Goji Peptide Perfecting Cream contains Fruit Stem Cells, BioActive 8 Berry Complex and Goji glycopeptides which deliver collagen and elastin building actives deep into dermal layers, boosting cellular renewal and dramatically transformig firmer, brighter skin tone and texture to younger-looking, velvety soft skin with fewer fine lines and wrinkles. Apply it daily on cleansed skin and neck. 

This day cream had really mild, almost unnoticeable scent. It absorbed quickly and didn´t leave skin feeling greasy or sticky and it worked well with makeup. The only downside of this cream is that it doesn´t contain SPF. I was able to use this 12ml sample for about three weeks, but I reallt didn´t notice any dramatic results :D, but maybe if used for longer period of time then there would be dramatic results too 😛

Resveratrol Q10 Night Repair Cream contains Fruit Stem Cell COmplex, Resveratol and CoQ10 which help to stimulate circulation, slow cellular damage and speed healthy cell renewal for improved dermal texture, diminishing fine lines and wrinkles overnight for smooth, ageless beauty. Apply on cleansed face and neck PM. 

This night cream had lovely scent and it absorbed nicely leaving my skin moisturised and soft and not feeling greasy. I enjoyed using it and I would purchase it in full size too.

Overall I liked this kit. My least favorite from this set was the cleansing milk, but rest of the products were good and suited my normal to dry skin well.
