Today I have very interesting products to show you. Gleam by Melanie Mills Body Radiance, Radiant Dust and Lip Radiance.

About Gleam by Melanie Mills

Melanie Mills is one of Hollywood’s leading style-makers and beauty consultant. In 2007, Melanie Mills was the Makeup Department Head for Dancing with the Stars show. Her products and tips for creating flawless makeup for the face and body have appeared on different TV shows and publications. Melanie´s first invention was Gleam Body Radiance which has long been an industry secret – professional face and body makeup that transform skin into a perfect velvet canvas, hides imperfections and improves skin texture. In 2012 Gleam collection was expanded with the launch of Lip Radiance and the newest addition is Radiant Dust which is a shimmery loose powder in beautiful shades that mimic and complement the Gleam Body Radiance. Gleam Body Radiance products made in USA and they are cruelty-, paraben-, sulfate-, phthalate- and gluten-free.

Gleam by Melanie Mills Body Radiance ($15-$40) is a very interesting product which description sounds heavenly. It is promised to tighten skin, fill wrinkles, diminish flaws making skin look like a velvet perfection. It is perfect for spray tans to enhance and even out skin and create an instant tan that lasts all night.Body radiance comes in 3 sizes: 1 oz/30ml, 2 oz/59ml and 3.5 oz/89ml. For the testing I had 59ml tube of Body Radiance. The tube has flip cap which makes using the product convenient.

I chose shade Light Gold and when I received and opened it for the first time then I was kind of freaked out because it looked so golden and shimmery and so I was 101% sure I will be looking like a disco ball if I used it. For my great surprise, once blended on the skin it won´t look that crazy shimmery at all. It gives my skin a lovely glow and makes it look healthy and more even. It doesn´t irritate my skin nor make it unpleasantly dry. I was afraid that maybe Body Radiance will leave marks on my light shirts, but luckily –  just as promised I did not notice any marks on white clothes.

Gleam Radiant Dust by Melanie Mills ($59) is very interesting product that has many uses. On the Gleam website it is described as the world´s most luxurious loose powder which can be used as an eyeshadow, blush, bronzer and all over body with or without Body Radiance.

It comes in a little plastic jar with a screw top. It is promised to leave a nice vanilla scent on the skin and so it is does, but it won´t stay on very long. Since my Radiant Dust is in shade Light Gold then it is obviously too light to be a bronzer, but I do like it an eyeshadow and it stays on my lids well all day when used over primer. When applied on my body or face as a powder then it gives delicate shimmer to my skin.

And last but not least we have Lip Radiance by Melanie Mills ($24). This lip gloss comes in 7 seven shades that all have very interesting names. The packaging of Lip Radiance looks very luxurious and stylish. These Lip Radiances come with a doe-foot applicator which makes applying the gloss convenient. On Gleam website it is described as an all-natural, highly pigmented, long-lasting gloss that improves lip texture and adds couture color. It contains Vitamin E, jojoba oil and aloe vera.

I tried Lip Radiance by Melanie Mills in Up Against the Wall. It looked highly pigmented in the tube and as you can see it is highly pigmented out of the tube too. I love its smooth moisturizing texture and that it does´t feel sticky on my lips. It stays on my lips very well and once the shine has faded there will be still some color left.

Overall I´m very impressed with these Gleam by Melanie Mills products. I especially love the lip gloss, because it doesn´t feel sticky, adds colors to my lips and won´t fade after an hour.
