I like sewing …

July 27, 2014 By Miss L

When I was about 15-16 years old then I absolutely loved sewing. But last 5-6 years I haven’t sewn  much any more. Probably because I don’t have sewing machine and so if I want to make something then I´ll have to go to my mom’s house and use her machine. Her machine basically actually belongs to antiques since it is 36 years old Tsaika, but it works very well and so my mom hasn’t seen no point of getting a new one.

I had to finish a couple of “projects” and so yesterday I finally took some time to finally finish them. Firstly, I had to alter some pillowcases, which are just way too huge for our pillows. I usually don’t purchase bedding sets that contain pillowcases that are too big, but this time I made an exception because I just loved this bedding set’s design. Secondly, I finally finished altering one of my skirt’s. I started with this project like three years ago, but couldn’t finish it then and so yesterday I did it 🙂 (hopefully you’ll see the result on my blog next week :))

I don’t sew very much but I am thankful that my grandmother gave me a sewing machine. I have done a few small projects and tackled one huge project. They all were fairly successful.
